He did not complete the single family home design. He agreed verbally to try to complete the drawings and submit to city within 6-7 weeks as my design was ready. He was supposed to make some basic changes on design and get structure engg service. ( he said 2-3 weeks for structure design). But since November 2nd , he was not responding, so after few days I sent him an email, which he replied in a very ugly manner. now he wants endless time limit to complete my project. I am paying taxes, interest etc. it is costing me every month. I understand it can take longer than expected and I was ready in my mind for 12 weeks. but 12 weeks already passed on Dec-23-24. It is more than 3 months now, I believe my work is just 25 % done.

I hired Samuel to draft and submit plans for an ADU permit in April. At first Samuel was on top of getting drafts done and submitting paperwork and initial plans to the city for planning. Plans were submitted in August. After the submission and first set of corrections came back, he never followed up with the city like he said he would and stopped returning my calls, text and emails. Not sure what happened on his end but the complete lack of communication was very unprofessional and my project has been at a stand still for 4 months. His pricing is very cheap, do yourself a favor and pay a little extra to ensure you work with a reputable architect or firm who knows what they are doing. Avoid SSE Designs and Samuel Sung for plans.
