Brands On Sale

Description of Work: Lied, specifically; I asked about a part they might carry that I need to fix my lawn/garden equipment...they sell others, and I asked if they had one for my model/equipment. They said no; I would have to invest over$200 to purchase an entire new piece of machinery. The lady on the phone said the manufacturer wouldn't sell that specific part. I called back again, to get a new person in hopes someone else knew differently; same answer, different lady. I contacted the manufacturer and guess what? THEY DO sell the part I need, for under $40. These people sell on eBay mostly--watch out! You have been warned.

Description of Work: We recently ordered a Disney costume from Brands on Sale (owner is Bob Davidson) in Cerritos, California. When it arrived we noticed right away it was missing a piece that went with the costume (this was a Cinderella costume for my 3 yr old granddaughter's birthday party). We called and they assured us we would have it by that Wednesday because her party was on Wed. We then preceded to try the costume on her and noticed the faux neckline was not attached on one side (not ripped, just poor manufacturing). And, we didn't receive the missing part (tiara) until Thur. so needless to say she couldn't wear the costume. My daughter has been away on business for the past week and asked me if I could contact the company and try to return the costume. I spoke to the owner, Bob Davidson, who is the most arrogant person I have ever had to deal with. He pretty much told me we were stuck with a piece of junk. After minutes of bickering he said I could exchange it for the same costume but at my cost.
