In Jan 2013 my Samsung 55" TV, purchased in Jan. 2010, would not turn on. A clicking noise could be heard eminating from the lower right corner area of the TV screen. I called Samsung support for help. They referred me to Ceres TV (the nearest authorized shop) for servicing my set. I was able to repackage the TV set myself and deliver it to the Ceres TV shop (a 35 mi trip), saving me considerable money for a call out & pick by the repair shop. I was called the next day with a price quote for the repairs which was exactly what I ended up paying. As I had suspected, the power supply board on the TV had failed. The unit was repaired & ready for pickup in 5 days (3 days involved getting power board ordered & delivered). The costs were as follows: new power supply board $148, S&H $12, labor $185, tax $12. I was given the basic 60 day warranty for the repairs done. I picked up the repaired set, took it home and it has worked perfectly as of this review. I was extremely satisfied with the service I received at Ceres TV.

TV TECHNICIANS CAME TO MY HOME AS IT WAS A LARGE SCREEN TV AND THEY WERE QUICKLY ABLE TO DETERMINE THE TV NEEDED SIMPLE MAINTENANCE. THEY GAVE ME SEVERAL SUGGESTIONS ON MAINTENANCE AND GENERAL UPKEEP.
