V I P Floors

Horrrrrible. Several friends forewarned me about VIP but I didnt listen and I should have. I had spent a GREAT deal of time searching for floor tile for a remodel. The one I finally decided upon was at VIP. Their price was decent ($1.99) for a porcelain 24"x24" Italian tile. I ordered 460 sq ft on 12-31-09. Jackie took a credit card and placed the order. My contractor was to pick up the order. A week later Jackie called and stated that they did not have enough in stock to fulfill the order. She added that the computer initially had enough in stock but when they went to go pull the order there was not enough. She offered to search for another vendor who had the same tile. A week later I had to follow up and she told they were still looking. Another week went by and still no call from VIP. I called Jackie again yet a week later and she still said she was still waiting to hear from her sales rep. After 3 weeks, I cancelled the order assuming they must have sold my 460 sq ft to fulfill a larger order. This is EXACTLY what 2 friends said happened to them along with one other contractor--that after an order was placed it was never fulfilled. Jackie didnt seem to care about the cancellation. Back to a grueling tile search. Let it be known that I am doing a remodel long distance from Seattle for a place in Palm Springs. Is this a real business?? They sure dont act like it....
