He replaced 4 panels, and cleared a lot of the root obstructions below. He fully graded the substructure below before re-pouring, as well as giving us lots of information about curing times, etc. Overall, he was prompt, conscientious, and did a great job.

Dave May and his crew of three arrived at the agreed time and advised the kind of care the freshly poured pad would need over the next several weeks.  There are no cracks in the surface anywhere in the pad.  He and his company are very professional and very quick to complete the work.  He called a couple of days after completing the job, and was concerned that we are satisfied with the workmanship, (which we are).  He will be returning in January to do a couple of small jobs at the same time when he does the work for our neighbor.  I am having him pour a landing pad at the base of the back steps on the house and a small pad to hold the trash containers, in the carport.  Dave May is a very skilled craftsman, whose main concern is to do his work as professionally as possible.

Overall, Dave was great to work with, prompt, clear in his quote and I'd have no hesitation using him again. Everything came out as we wanted and I give him and his crew credit for working in the heat.

I contacted Dave on a Sunday night and talked to him about a small concrete job I had in my back yard. He answered his phone on my first attempt, in fact there was never any phone tag, etc. He said he would be able to come by the following day and arrived that morning at 7:30am to do the work. I was very impressed with #1, his availability and #2, the work itself. Dave seems like a very honest, hard working guy with a good team of workers. They completed my small patio job in less than 3 hours. I was very satisfied with the price as well as the finished work. Will definately use again for any concrete work I may need in the future.

He was punctual, professional, on time and completed all the work with no problems at all.  He has been in the business for years and has great experience in sizing up the work and knows exactly what he is doing.  Excellent choice!!  We would hire him again in an instant.

Great person and team to deal with.  Stuck to quote and job specs.  Offered wonderful advice on step heights, patio pad sizes to better accommodate future seating, concrete colors and more. Ordered the best concrete the "valley' has to offer and added in 'fiber' to better fortify the mix as well as 'go-slow' to better set the concrete once poured.  Our patios look great thanks to Dave May and his crew.

Dave May Concrete was one of 3 bids I received from cement contractors for this job. His bid turned out to be the lowest and he was by far the most knowledgeable of the people I talked with. He and his crew were on time and completed the job in less than 2 days. He was there working with his crew throughout the job. I can recommend this company highly.

After chasing contractors for weeks, I finally decided to join Angie's List for help.  I couldn't have made a better decision.  Dave May Concrete is one of the top rated in my area so I gave him a call.  He was out in 2 days to review the project and by the next morning I had an estimate.  Only 1 other concrete contractor had bid the project and he was A LOT more than Mr May.  We scheduled the date (and after an unusual rain delay in Palm Springs), he arrived on time and started the job.  His crew was good and tidy.  They completed the job in a few hours and cleaned up area.  Mr May reviewed the work with me  and said he would be back in a few days to make sure it cured okay.  WOW ... this is how all contractors should work!  No Friday the 13th for me ... lol  Thank you Angie's List and thank you again Mr May.

He’s a super nice guy. Somebody recommended him to me. His pricing was really reasonable. They were very punctual. They finished their work in record time. They had to move a fence and it was a nice big group. I would definitely use their services again in the future.
