Working with Streamline Pluming from the time of inception of me wanting to replace the lateral in my home until the work is done as a positive and hassle-free experience. Their price is very competitive, their conduct was professional and they deliver what they promise in writing. In addition their work complied with all the local requirements whether it is a license, passing inspection or cleaning the worksite afterwards. They did a great job.  We had a major rain storm but that did not stop them from doing their job.  Much of the digging was through a mature rose garden so it was all dug by hand to minimize the damage to my roses.  I am very happy with their work and they saved me lots of money.

Everything went very smoothly with the replacement of the sewer line. The pre-replacement process took an extra day due to the existing line being broken and severely impacted with tree roots which required a day's worth of clearing before the inspector would approve the replacement. This was communicated to us so we knew what had happened and why--and we were aware of the roots so anticipated this might happen. The day of the replacement, the crew arrived on time, knew exactly what to do, had all of the equipment they needed and worked incredibly hard to finish in one day rather than two. They left the job site clean, had someone at the street directing traffic, arrived at 9:00 and were finished before 5:00 which minimized disruption to our neighbors. The company owner, Greg, and office manager, April, were very responsive in communicating with us about our questions, final inspections, etc. We would highly recommend Streamline to others in need of a sewer line replacement.

Their bid was 2/3 of other bids we had gotten.  The work was completed professionally, neatly, and on time.

They are great. The price was good. It is their specialty. They do it well and quickly. We knew we needed to replace a sewer line so we did it all at one time. They were very professional. We saved a lot by them not having to dig.

I haven't had any problems with my plumbing since Streamline Plumbing fixed my pipes. I would say they could communicate better. It's kind of hard to judge the quality because it's all under the ground. The thing that really bothered me is they didn't really tell me when they were going to disconnect our sewer. I had asked them to tell me when can we use it and when can we not use it. They didn't communicate that to me, even though I had asked. It was a two day job, but when they left for that day, they told me they were going to hook it up, so we can use it and it turned out they didn't do that. The biggest problem was communication. If they had just talked to me, then things would have been much better. But they just didn't communicate when I could use my bathroom and when I couldn't use it and that was all the big things. When I mentioned this to the manager on the phone, he kind of was rude with me and said, "At the prices we charge, I can't afford to have one whole person who is there just to talk to customers." What we're really talking about though is a five minute conversation at the beginning of the day and a five minute conversation at the end of the day. I might use them in the future, but I would make sure the communication was working.

They did it promptly and professionally, but it did take them about a week to take away all the construction materials.

We first learned we had to have our main sewer line replaced when our tub backed up and one of those guys from roto rooter or rescue rooter came and wanted to charge us 6,000 to replace half of it and that's if we did the digging! 
we did some research and had several companies come out to give us a quote, and greg's (owner) was by far the best for the amount of work. he replaced the whole line out to the main (which included digging and repairing a hole in the street to make the connection to the city main) using a trenchless system so our yard was intact. he took care of all permits.   He did the work on time and in less time than he quoted. all said and done it was 5480.00 out the door. not bad compared to quotes up to 8,000 for less work. 
the only thing is there was no mention of a warranty in the paperwork. he said the work is guaranteed for 10 years and the parts have a manufacturers warranty. this was hand written and signed on the paperwork. he should have it included in the paperwork though. 
 He will also run a camera down the main for free and show you the trouble spots . This is a free service whether you hire him or not  

They are very good. The person who came out was on time, and he was very organized. He was in and out. He starts late and ends early, he was in and out fast. He does about fifty or sixty of them a month. I think his price is fair, he is not always the cheapest, but I would rate his price as good. I know some people whose prices are cheaper, but he is consistent and he provides quality service. He does his work very well.

I found them on Angie's List and I think that they are excellent. They are really good. They are well-priced and they are very fast. They are very quick and do a sewer line in one day. They are very organized, and they get in and get out. I would recommend that you should call them if you need any sewer line work done in the Bay Area.

They were good. I thought that they did a good job. The job took one day. They were fast, professional and well-priced. They knew as to what they were doing. Their price was great. I may use them again in the future.

The overall experience was good. Greg was good to work with and was able to schedule the work in a timely manner. When I had a follow up question regarding the permit, he was responsive to the request.

Greg was very responsive and professional when giving the estimate and scheduling the original work. The crew did a professional job replacing the actual main sewer line. However, the surrounding work, such as the required outlets/cleanouts surrounding the house were not done in a professional manner. When they were removing the concrete for the clean-outs, they did not clean up the splashing on the house or fence so both were sprayed/speckled with gray splashes that would not come off. In addition, the concrete patches were completed in a sub-standard fashion. Greg agreed to redo the patches and said he would call me to schedule for the following week, however he never called. Then suddenly on 12/23/2010 (the day before Christmas Eve) a crew showed up at my house with no prior notice to redo the concrete. I had just had my house repainted that week as the final step in our house remodel project. I told them they needed to call me to schedule the appointment. I could not believe they just showed up the day before Christmas Eve with no notice, almost 2 months after the original service. Our contract states that payment is due upon completion of sewer installation. Since they have not completed their job, I have not paid them the balance of the contract. The entire process has been very frustrating.

The job went really well; we were told the job would take two days, and it only took one. I highly recommend this plumber.

They showed up in the worst rainstorm of the year and without hesitation got the job done. Despite the weather and task at hand, the total downtime of my plumbing was only about five hours. Greg was very patient with my incessant questions and worries and ultimately made the process completely painless. They made a temporary patch in the street and let it settle for a couple of weeks before coming back and replacing it with a very neat and smooth patch.
