In need to replace our 40yr. old front entry door, we received many quotes, but chose Rayco Door and Window because we like to give work to our local businesses and avoid the Big Box Industry. The price was right in line with the others. Our old door was a double door, but we chose to go with a single door with sidelites on each side. We chose the Therma Tru Classic Craft Mahogany Fiberglass Door. It had the nice grain of wood, looked like wood and came highly recommended in the industry. We chose the oval shape Arcadia Glass with matching sidelites. The owner, Scott Henderson, came out to the house for measurements and took a picture so we could see what this door would like in our home. He also included other styles but we liked our original the best. Scott got the door ordered which would be 6-8 weeks for receipt from Therma Tru. The door came in before the glass, so Scott brought the door over so we could see it up against our old door - already we are impressed. He brought his Interior Designer, Clarissa, so she could help us choosing the stain color since this is her specialty. We chose the reddish mahogany using two coats. We also let her pick the hardware for us which was the Emtek Brand - perfect decision. Clarissa called us when the glass had arrived, the door was built and the stain was completed so we could go to the shop and see it first hand before they put the clear coats on. GORGEOUS - it exceeds our expectations. They have put a lot of time and love into our door. About 3 weeks later, our door was installed. The team arrived at 8:30am sharp and the job was completed at 3pm. They paid attention to every detail and made everything perfect. They cleaned up constantly throughout the day and left everything spotless. They were very professional, kind, respectful, and easy to talk to. We highly recommend Rayco Door and Window and we will definitely use them again. They really did wonderful work and the inspection went well. Nothing has to get redone. I was happy with their service and they were really considerate. Their job was nice. The guy who made our tiles was very conscientious and made the tiles in a really nice pattern, even the inspector liked it. They also did not wasted time. It seems like they wanted to get it done early too.
