MIKE'S PAINTING

Work performed was satisfactory. Painter prefers Benjamin Moore brand, so we went with that, despite some complications in getting our HOA to review and approve colors. There was some confusion with correctly identifying spot sampling of paint colors before we and our neighbors made our final selection, but it got sorted out. Anyway, the final result looks good and workmanship appears to be fine. We got a good quality job for a good price.

Mike came by the week before and talked about the color with us and arranged a time to arrive and do the work. He worked over 2 days. He did the wall paper removal and prep in one day and painted the walls the second day. He made sure that we were happy with the work before cleaning up his stuff so that he was prepared to do any touch ups. The holes were filled up perfectly, the paint job is great.

Mike came out to our home and provided an estimate within just a few days of my contacting him. We compared the estimate to two others and Mike was not only better priced, he provided more detail in his estimate about the services it covered. This was very important to us. Mike took a sample of our previous paint color so he could match it and he even brought the new paint by the house to try a sample before ordering more. Mike is very detail oriented and he wants everything to be exactly as his customer(s) want it. Upon hiring Mike we provided a 10% down payment. After a few weeks of weather delays, Mike and one crew member spent the weekend on our job. The work was completed exactly to specification and most of all, it was completed very well. Mike kept us up to date on how the job was going, he was professional and very respectful of our property. When the job was complete Mike cleaned up all of his equipment and swept up any old paint chips that escaped his drop cloths and made their way to the ground. Our home looks great!

They are terrific. Mike has that great attention to detail which important in painters. He paints clean lines and makes sure that the job is perfect. He makes sure to cover furniture and doesn't mind having to move things to paint. Mike and Joel have painted our house well. They are both polite and hard working. They even painted a Crimson room for us, which meant 3 coats of paint and attention to detail on the trim. They don't mind when we point out areas that need a slight touch up. They are easy to have in the house and easy to communicate with. It was a pleasure having them in the house.

Mike is a pleasant gentleman with infinite patience. He made at least five trips to my home to show my wife various color samples and kept coming back as she changed her mind. Once we'd settled on colors, Mike did the rest. We felt comfortable enough with mike to give him the keys to our house and have him paint the house while we were out of state on vacation. Arriving home we found a freshly painted house, no sign of tools, no signs of mistakes and no accidents on furniture or floors. Mike is just a professional at what he does and no job is too small or too large for him.

Mike's Painting did a great job. They were on time and prepared to do the job when they arrived. They were courteous and efficient and very outgoing and friendly. They did a good, solid job.
