I was pleased to hire a local professional electrician who lives in my community. Pete from Off The Grid Electric was perfect! He is a very experienced electrician and performs excellent work! Pete Stankis is a Sole Proprietor. He was easy to communicate with. He provided a clear estimate. He did great work (even when he had to return because the solar installer -- SunPower-- had to disconnect his wiring at the box in order to pass the City of Santa Claritas inspector's step for Solar system). He is a good fellow, knowledgeable and fair, flexible and resourceful. He knows his stuff.

He didn't know how to install 3&4-way Z-wave switches. I've figured this out myself. Installed one. But even this wasn't enough to convince him that the scheme was right. Basically, he was arguing about this until the very end (even though he ended up installing one pair of such switches). As for the rest, he installed many 1-way switches. But still, not all of them. He was always rushing somewhere and somehow charged me for 1 extra switch (miscounted, I guess).

Prior to hiring "Pete"@Off the Grid ..My Hero!!I had another Home Advisor electrician come out for an estimate..what a NIGHTMARE!!..2hrs late for initial appt.. and after repeated phone calls by me regarding status of my estimate of which I was charged $100...he forgot who I was..finally after 10 days ..estimate was OUTRAGEOUS and sent to the wrong "E" mail.NO Way would I hire that guy..Called Pete@ Off Grid..Pete arrived "on time", gave me an estimate that day and completed project the following day...Pete's estimate to repair malibu lights was "several hundred dollars less" professionally completed, answered all my ?? and my yard is beautifully lite once again!! Hire Pete, you won't be disappointed!!

All around very good

Pete installed 6 can lights and fixed a troublesome ceiling fan. He did an excellent job and we will definitely hire him again.

Pete is great! Fixed our problem. Went out to get parts. Great communicator and really knows electrical issues. Fast, courteous, reasonably priced. Yay!

Only provider that responded to initial questions and estimate with knowledge, decisiveness and was forthright with his price. He stuck to the job and estimate until it was completed through inspection. Pleasant to be around, easy to get along with and bent rather than breaking with job inspector.

We hired Pete to wire a new spa to comply with new city codes. He completed the work exactly as outlined. When they had to trench in our backyard they were extremely careful not to damage the brickwork or sprinkler system. The spa hookup was done very professionally. We would definitely recommend Pete and will use him in the future for any additional electrical work. He was very personable and even came back on a Sunday to add an outlet.

Pete did a good job for us. Even though we asked him to replace only the breakers that were bad, he explained that we should be looking at upgrade our panel when we have other work done. Pete was at the top of the fee scale but we were happy with his professionalism and how quickly he was able to complete the job.

Pete did an amazing job. He was totally professional and extremely detail oriented. He is precise in his determination of what needs to be done before commencing with any of the work. He cleans up as he goes along and except for the beautiful work he did you cannot even tell any work was done in your home. He could not be more respectful of his customer and their home.
