"Our Carson office manager, Richard Neal has reached out to the customers several times in addition to our Senior LA Regional Manager, Tony Paige. They have been told the family is not home and hung up. Regarding the specific issues: Usage of a sub-contractor – We have been successfully using highly vetted and dependable “subs” for decades. The customer signed a release form showing a sub could be used for this job. Tardy arrival – our paperwork clearly indicates “no arrival time will be given.” While we make every effort to meet a customer’s specific needs, LA traffic or problems with a previous job can easily influence our arrival time. Dead vehicle battery – we do ask that all vehicles be removed from the garage or have windows down and trunk’s ajar due to the “tenting” procedure. This is indicated on our prep sheet. Stove issue – in the case of appliances neither we nor our subs touch any appliances during this procedure. Typically, the gas company is required to come in and re-light the gas appliances. Perhaps that hadn’t been done right after the fume. We are willing to offer our Homeowner protection policy valued at $285 for a full year to help make amends for their dissatisfaction. So far, the homeowner has not responded to our attempts to reach out."
