Best Choice Delivery Moving & Storage

dIt has been 3 months.  Initially they answered the phone and told her they were still trying to fill the truck, and her things were PROBABLY in storage, but they didn't know where.  Then they stopped answering their phone, returning texts, or emails.  All my daughter had was her suitcase.  She had to buy scrubs (she is an oncology nurse) towels, some winter clothing, bedding, a quilt,  silverware, a coffee pot, a frying pan, a few dishes - she has NOTHING!  ALL of her books, photos, clothes, music, photographs, the things she inherited from her grandparents.  Her artwork, her nursing textbooks, a raincoat, a hat, shoes. The things she needs to survive!  She is saving receipts for all the things she has had to buy but already owns.  This company has dropped off the face of the earth with all of my daughter's possessions, and even the Better Business Bureau had to shelve her complaint because they never responded.  She paid them to steal everything she owns.  Probably close to $30-$40,000 worth of belongings. She has already contacted the police who said it was a civil matter, although after this length of time I would categorize it more as theft and fraud than a contractual issue.  She has contacted the Atttorney General who referred her to the Department of Transportation, who took her complaint but said that was all they could do and suggested small claims court.  This is difficult when you can't find the company!  She is  mourning the loss of her belongings, and is not able to afford to even to begin to replace most of her things, even if they could be replaced!  We are unable to locate anyone to talk to, and would like to resolve this by her recieving her belongings AS WELL as being reimbursed for all the expenses she has incurred because of what hopefully just is an extreme delay and failure of their dispatch and communication departments.

They have not paid this third party warehouse since the end of June and the warehouse is contacting me saying  Best Choice Delivery hasn't paid them, and that I may lose all my household items, and they will not let me have another storage company come in and move it for me until it has been paid, I do not want to pay twice. We make our storage payment to Best Choice Delivery. Since we understand that Best Choice has not been paying the CAL IMPORT we have not paid Best Choice for the last two months. We will pay as soon as we are assured that Best Choice will pay CAL IMPORT and that we will not lose our household goods.

When they came, I had everything in boxes. All they needed to do was to move the furniture and load it. He walked through the house and gave me a poor estimate. They did the dishes and all the furniture, I had a lot of boxes that were needed to be stored and taken to my apartment but yet the price was so much higher. He said I could pay by credit card, the store boss said that it would cost me 10%, but I was never aware of this. They then tried to lower it to 5% and bullied me saying that it would've been more if he didn't cut me the deal. He also rudely asked if I was going to pay because if not, they won't do the work. I paid for the first advance with the 5% credit card fee. I contacted David who then charged me the price on my credit card but didn't even mention the 10%, for the remainder of the job. They sent me a lot of movers when I was in California City, but when I got to Boulder, only 2 showed up and I had stairs. They said that it was going to be extra costs for more workers. They left before they finished the job, the two men were sweating profusely and it was not meant for only 2 men. I had to undo a lot of difficult stuff and try to carry it and I am 71 years old. The shredder was broken, my coffee table is broken, the mover told me to take a picture of it and send it to David. No one should go to them again! If they would've come through with some sort of resolution, I would've been forgiving but I've been waiting for over a month and no one is returning my calls.

We got an estimate from them, and they said they weren't accredited with the BBB. When they showed up, their paperwork said they were. We gave them a $100 deposit, and they kept it when I canceled after waiting all day for them. They are shady people. When I canceled, he got an attitude with me. They didn't return our calls, and the day of the move they called a couple hours later after they hadn't shown up. They kept delaying, so I finally gave up on them and canceled. I think they just take people's money. They told me when I paid the deposit they would refund the deposit at any time.

I don't like moving, the idea of packing all of your belongings and entrusting a stranger to safely and properly transport it to its destination doesn't put me in a happy place. So when it came for me to have to move I was in a state of panic for I didn't know to whom to turn to move my precious belongings. You see I am a fashion designer and I was in need of a moving company to move not only myself and furnitures, but also all of my work from Granada Hills to New York. I had called survival companies to get a comparison on which company to use for my move. I had a bad experience with movers and this time I want to make sure chose correctly. With each phone call I made, the more my fear grew of having to move. After a few discouraging phone calls, I can across this young lady by the name of Ivy who works for the company Best choice delivery moving and storage. As we were talking about my moving senerio, I started to feel more and more ensured that she was the best candidate to hired for my moving needs. She was extremely professional about her job. She explain to me exactly how the transition will be step by step and pointing out all of the necessary detail to truly put myself in a calming state of mind. When it came to the day of the move, Ivy did such a good job informing me on the move, that I felt comfortable and relax throughout the whole process. The movers that showed up were really professional and kind during the move. They were delicate when they were handling my belongings and were careful while they we packing it. They did such a good job making the move easly for me, and I was really happy with their approach and their delivery. What I was really impressed with how Ivy kept calling me during the process to make sure that everything was going well and that I was at eased with the move, blessed her heart she was so kind. I would recommend Best choice delivery moving and storage for all your moving needs. They made me look forward to my next move, but hopeful it's not anytime soon.
