flooring contractor
+ -1 moreThe quality of the hardwood and the installation process were excellent. The wood is laid out beautifully, and there was amazingly little dust throughout the sanding/finishing process. The contractor truly has, in my opinion, a craftsman-level skill with wood. On the other hand, business practices didn't go as well. The estimate went up substantially after the wood was delivered. (This might have been due to a misunderstanding, but it caused quite a bit of concern, confusion, and mistrust.) In addition, some boards appear lower-grade than that requested and quoted. We haven't been able to reach them over the last month with questions. For future work we'll hire a different hardwood contractor.
