Schafer Piano Lessons

Leanne is a wonderful piano teacher.  She has been working with my son for over three years.  His knowledge, skills and enthusiasm has blossomed with her excellent instruction.

I have been going to Schafer Piano Studios for about 6 years now and can't imagine going to any other teacher. Leanne is a thoughtful instructor who adjusts lessons to her students' needs and interests. She gauges the skill level of her students, takes into account their age group, and finds music that will appeal to each individual. Her goal is to encourage her students to practice music on their own by providing pieces that are high interest and at skill level. Leanne is also flexible with scheduling lessons. She will work with your work schedule to help make lessons convenient to attend. Although she requests that students keep their schedules consistent, she is willing to make an occasional exception when you're in a bind and need to reschedule. I highly recommend Leanne as a highly qualified piano instructor for those who want to improve their playing or start learning. 

I am a mature adult man who had 3 years of piano lessons 58 years ago. I found Leanne on Angie's List and signed up for lessons. She is extremely flexible and makes every effort to develop a course of study specific to your interests. I have been very pleased with my progress over the past 7 months. She is a cheerleader and encourager and if I continue to practice, I have every expectation that with 2 years I will be playing the music that long to play.

I had very little knowledge of the piano besides playing small duets with my father as a child. My goal was to take piano lessons when I retired, and when I did my husband surprised me with lessons on Valentine's Day from Schafer Piano Studio. On the first day I have to admit I was a bit nervous and didn't know what to expect, but by the end of my lesson I felt comfortable and at ease with Leanne. Leanne's instructional methods have made me feel very comfortable and her professionalism and patience gives me the confidence I need to pursue my goal. I am very content about the beautiful music Leanne has taught me to play in the past two years, and I look forward to many more lessons!
