Responded immediately. Very thoroughly changed locks; pointed out a door I didn't know existed. Explained how to use the new locks. Made sure I could do it properly. Very nice guy.

Mr. Mize answered when I called for an appointment. He is very friendly and accommodating.  He was willing to come a short time later, but I asked him to come at around 3 pm  due to a schedule conflict, and he was very prompt, even showing up fifteen minutes early.  He worked steadily and quickly.  In about thirty to forty minutes he had changed all the locks and made three additional sets of keys.  It was obvious that he is very experienced, and he is very reasonably priced. 

I called on Sunday afternoon and the phone was answered by a the owner John.  I explained my needs and was given a detailed quote.  He said he would be at my home within 30 minutes and was 5 minutes early.  I showed him the locks and he went directly to work. He was unintrusive and friendly.  I was able to continue working on my projects without interruption while he was here. When John completed the work I was surprised at how short the time had been.  He presented me with a bill which was exactly as he had explained on the phone.  He even gave me an unexpected discount because I paid in cash--a very nice surprise.  One of the best experiences I've had in quite a while.  I would definitely use John again if the occasion arose and would have no hesitation in recommending him to anyone that has the need for a locksmith.

Called three locksmiths on a saturday morning with a somewhat emergency situation and they were the only ones to call back in a reasonable amount of time. He was already out working and came by right away to unlock the interior door. Price was great for the situation (early saturday morning) and I would definitely use again. Thanks!

The price was steep for five minutes of service, but I knew that going in. Price included 60 miles of travel and service and travel time.  While the price was steep, it was probably reasonable to pay for travel and travel expense

Called him at about 1pm to rekey the locks in my house. Arrived late afternoon; examined the locks; and then made new keys for all eight locks as well as tightening the two locks that were loose.

My back doorknob fell apart and, after trying to reassemble it for an hour with no luck, I called Newberry's. He responded to my voicemail within 10 minutes and was at my house within 3 hours. Since he's a pro, he knew exactly what to do. He did a couple of extra things to make the doorknob work even better because he "wanted to make what I paid for the service call worth it to me". That's pretty awesome. Side note: I have dogs and he has dogs, so we ended up chatting about them for a while. Very nice experience.

He's been very good.  I'll bring him a lock and he'll rekey it, he doesn't necessarily come to us.  He's a good guy, he's reasonable and I've never had any problem with him.  I think he rekeyed the house and he did a good job with that.  The price was very reasonable.   We've had doors put in, we just take him the lock set and he will rekey it to match the other doors.  We really like him because he's very convenient.  He is mobile, but we normally go see him.  I think he's an excellent man, honest and hardworking guy. He's been able to find little thing I was missing on a lock, he had a part in his truck and he just handed it to me.  He's made my life much easier on occasion, I've never had a bad experience with him.  I've checked with other companies occasionally and he's usually $30-$40 lower than everybody.  I had one key that stuck a olittle and I took it back to him and he took care of it no problem.  When we needed him he was there within an hour.

I would highly recommend them, they were very good.

Locksmith arrived within 10 minutes of appt. time. When I made the appt. earlier in the day, he did say he might be a little delayed by his previous appt. He set to work right away. Advised me on one of the new locks I bought that it was not as secure as the other one I had. (I bought locks at two different times. Actually the more expensive one was a new type and he said was less secure.) As it turned out, I found a good quality used one of the same brand in a bunch of stuff at my house and he was able to rekey that one instead. (It was going on a garage door to the side yard. Did not need to be new. Only secure.)We shared some jokes and some stories but he did not waste anytime. This is the second time I have used him ... so yes I would hire him again!

THIS COMPANY HAD GREAT PROFESSIONALISM. I THINK THAT THEIR PRICE COULD HAVE BEEN LOWER. THEY DID A VERY GOOD JOB. THE NEW LOCKS ARE WORKING VERY WELL.
