Lundquist Appraisal Company
About us
Lundquist Appraisal Company is based in the Sacramento area and provides residential real estate appraisals within Sacramento, Placer and Yolo County. The company was founded in 2003 by Ryan Lundquist, and our clients include home owners, real estate agents, governmental agencies, attorneys, and lenders. We handle appraisals for estate settlement, divorce, tax grievances, pre-listing, loans and other types of private appraisals. Our full appraisals are typically priced around $400 or so depending on the complexity and of course the reason for the appraisal. If an appraisal is going to be used in court and expert testimony is required, that can obviously impact the level of work involved. Ultimately we are very reasonable, and we are always glad to offer you a quick quote. We handle property tax appeals too, and we will shoot straight with you about whether you should appeal or not. Our property tax report and service is usually around $150 (flat rate - no percentage fees). Our founder Ryan Lundquist speaks monthly in real estate offices to share what the real estate market is doing as well as teach appraisal-related classes. Ryan studies the housing market carefully and you can check out "Press" on our website to read recent quotes and interviews Ryan has given to local and national media outlets. Mr. Lundquist currently sits on the Housing Opportunity Committee (Vice Chair for 2014) and Technology Committee through the Sacramento Association of Realtors. Ryan is also a board member of the Real Estate Appraisers Association of Sacramento. Beyond work his passions include biking, improving local neighborhoods, writing and leading a volunteer non-profit called Project 680 that advocates for local homeless students. Ryan runs the Sacramento Appraisal Blog (www.SacramentoAppraisalBlog.com), which is a top-ranking appraisal blog in the United States that exists to help illuminate the local housing market as well as resource the real estate community and general public on how to understand the appraisal process and better work with appraisers. Topics include real estate market trends, tips for Realtors, appraisal issues and anything I find interesting or entertaining. This blog is also listed as one of the top 35 real estate blogs by BiggerPockets. If interested, you can check out Press to read recent quotes and interviews I’ve given to various local and national media outlets.
