very comfortable and reassuring couple to do business with. my problem was immediately diagnosed, and a repair quote was given. I was called when repair was done. there were no additional costs, and my watch was also water checked. I like doing business with this shop, and I absolutely would use them in the future for any repairs.

I'm looking to go back. I have more watches that needed to be repaired. This guy is a topnotch professional. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone. I think he did a great job with the repairs I needed him to do and did it at the time that he promised, and it was excellent work. I haven't had any problems with the watch that he repaired. I appreciate that he was very informative. He let me know exactly what he was doing and I had no questions when I left his business. I knew exactly what he was going to do for me and did exactly what he said.

We had a problem with a wall clock - it was not running properly after a cross country move. Dropped the clock off and they were able to identify the problem and fix it without charging us an arm and a leg! Very Honest and did a great job. Clock is now back and chiming away!

Back case seal and battery replacement sounds like simple stuff, but a botched seal installation at another shop led to the failure of a previous watch. I travel globally and my multi-time zone watch is vital in my job. After reading on-line reviews on other sites, I passed on watch shops close to my home in Placer County and went to Mr. Lukins. He did a great job, and had the watches back to me in 30 minutes. His shop was neat, clean and he's very professional. I would entrust him with any watch or clock repair and strongly recommend him.

My doctor and I were discussing watches. I said I had some that weren't working properly and he referred me to Lukins, commenting that he really liked this business. I went once taking two watches not functioning properly and my husbands watch with loose parts. He was helpful, prompt and reasonable. I have taken two more watches in which I expect to get this week. I always appreciate free services when they only take a second. It makes me want to go back when I have work to be done that I know will cost money.

Gennadi performed the repair and service of all three watches to my complete satisfaction. The total cost was approximately $300.00 less than a well known local jeweler/watchmaker had asked. The work was obviously done by a craftsman whom I would not hesitate to recommend to anyone who has a fine or expensive watch to repair or service. He also naturally will service or repair any watch regardless of cost. I was completely comfortable with leaving him with my valuable watches to repair and service. The work done was entirely to my satisfaction and I couldn't imagine the work being done better or for less elsewhere. One of the highlights of dealing with this business is the warm and friendly manner in which I was treated. Gennadi is a sincere and honest man. There are so few like him these days.
