"I saw this bad review coming as soon as he started using foul language with me during my initial visit. At that point, I was done dealing with this person. I am nothing but respectful and if I cannot get it in return, there is no need to continue the conversation. Basically he wanted me to fix an issue with an Internet radio station. He couldn't comprehend that the problem was with the station itself and not with any of his equipment. He just couldn't grasp this no matter how I told him. He didn't openly tell me, but I figured out that there was another contractor there that installed the equipment initially. After my experience with this customer, I'm sure he burned that bridge and the original contractor didn't want to deal with this guy either. I don't blame him."
Called Mark and he told me it would be $85 for each camera and $75 to hook up the DVR unit price included all wiring and fixtures, Mark and Joe showed up right on time, got right to work, had to stop at the end of the day to go to another appointment, came back the following day and finished the job. Excellent workmanship, very good price and we are delighted with the service. Can view my home any time of the day or night from the monitors, PC's and Smart phone. Great technology and real piece of mind.
Tech Service from Swann is first rate and very easy to contact and clear instructions to follow. Very satisfied.
First, Jeff was very responsive in answering my questions and providing me an estimate of his services. Second, Jeff worked with my schedule so that the work could be completed in a timely manner and without any inconvenience to me. Third, the work he did is outstanding! He advised me on the proper mount for my TV and then installed one that I chose. The mount I originally had on the TV was suggested by a different contractor and it began sagging after a 1 1/2 years. With Jeff's advice I was able to settle on the appropriate mount.
Finally, Jeff also moved a TV for me and mounted it on a different wall. He rewired it and replaced a bad HDMI cable that I didn't know was going out. He also moved the TV stand/cabinet that was under the TV to the new location.
I will use Jeff again and again if needed. He was very professional and I'm very satisfied with his service!
I highly recommend him/services. Would not hesitate to call him again..;)
The thing that really impressed us was Mark's tenacious attitude to solve a problem that we had with our first generation Ipad. It was to be used to program/operate our system, particularly for outside use in the back yard. Mark spent five hours going through different channels to find the problem. Finally we called Apple support and the problem was quickly solved. We were ready to just purchase a new Ipad but Mark really wanted to get to the bottom of the problem. He told us that he wanted to find the solution, because if this problem showed up for us, it might for someone else.
At the end of day two, the system was ready to program, which took quite a while. Mark took extra time making sure that we knew how to operate each section of the remote, which was set up for easy operation-just what we wanted! Everything worked fine for a few days and then the remote started malfunctioning. We called Mark and he promptly came out and gave us a new remote, which has been working as it should.
All in all, we had a great experience with Mark. He was very patient with our lack of electronics knowledge and designed a system that was easy for us to use and that sounds wonderful. We would definitely use his company again.
How did it go? I called and told Mark what I thought I needed, he told me how long he thought it would take, gave me a price based on that estimate and we set an appointment for the following week. Mark was on time, went right to work and finished within the estimate time. What took Mark 3 hours to do, took the original company that set the system up a day and a half. Something wrong with that picture. Of course I didn't have Angie's List to guide me at that time.
Net, Net, the system never looked better, sounded as good or was functionally as easy to operate. Having hired Live Wire has re-newed my faith in good professional quality service at a reasonable price. Never thought I'd be a happy guy writing a $225.00 check. If you need this kind of service this is your guy. I'm so impressed with the job he did I'm bringing Mark back to add a few things to the system.
"After over 10 years in business and hundreds of customers, it was bound to happen.... Well, as far as being late, yes I was running late from a previous job. I don't like to leave a job incomplete so that's why I called you to tell you I was going to be late. As for the cable box, yes I did plug in the wrong transformer to it. I was the one to inform you of this. I could have not said anything and blamed it on bad equipment, but I was honest with you as I am with all of my customers. I would have went to exchange it myself, but as you already know I am not on your account so they would not allow me to pick up the new cable box (remember we had that discussion). That is why you went. As far as getting MORE of a discount, you should have just asked. The job was already cheaper than anyone else, as you previously stated. I would have knocked off more if you would have just communicated with me. I am more than fair if given the opportunity."
