 + -1 moreTHIS PIECE TOOK A LITTLE LONGER THAN EXPECTED, BECAUSE THE KAROLY'S ARE VERY EXACTING. THE WORK TAKES TIME BECAUSE A LITTLE IS DONE AT A TIME AND THEN ALLOWED TO DRY. WE HAD SEVERAL PIECES FIXED SO WE CAN SHOW THEM.
Description of Work: WE HAD THE HANDLE PUT BACK ON AN HEIRLOOM VEGETABLE SERVING DISH. ONE HANDLE BROKE OFF. BARBARA KAROLY REGLUED THE PIECE, THEN FILLED THE CRACK AND THEN MATCHED THE COLOR SO THE BREAK IS NOT VISIBLE. THIS ALLOWS US TO SHOW THE PIECE WITH OTHER PIECES OF GRANDMOTHER'S CHINA. WE DO NOT USE THE DISH FOR FOOD ANYMORE SINCE THE REPAIR FIXES THE APPEARANCE ONLY.
