PEREZ PAINTING & DECORATING

When I invited Jose to my house to give me a bid, he carefully walked around the entire house and identified areas of dry rot and areas that needed repair. My previous two bidders, who came in under Jose's price, never mentioned these problems. For that reason, I went with the higher bid, knowing that the house would be done correctly. When the bid came in, he had a two page detailed report of the work he was going to do. Very impressive.
When Jose paints a house, he takes care of every detail. Because of the flimsy outside walls and the dry rot, Mark ended up replacing many outside walls. His work was impeccable. When Jose's team came to prep, they were meticulous. Every crack and batten was sealed, the moldy sections were treated, the wooden windows were prepped perfectly, and they put extra paint on the areas with the most exposure.
I can't say enough about Jose's work (and Mark's). They were professional, knowledgeable, and timely. Jose doesn't just paint houses; he takes care of the family. I would love to use him again, but I think he painted the house so well that we won't need him for ages. We are so happy with the result! Call him!

This was a small job, but Mr. Perez was very detailed and thorough in explaining the problem to me, recommending materials, and providing a detailed proposal for the work. Because the wall siding had many butted joints and was exposed to sun year-round, great skill and care was required to clean out and fill the joints. The entire wall was sanded and primed and two coats of paint were applied. The door to the office required filling of joints, planing to fit the door frame, and adjusting the frame to fit the door.

Mr. Lopez was very friendly and professional. He actually dealt with some details not included in the proposal. Since he was fitting in my job with other jobs, he kept me advised as to his schedule for the various stages of the work and was punctual in meeting the schedule. He also took the time to answer my questions and gave me several tips for dealing with other painting problems around the exterior of my house, which I hope to do myself.

Overall, I found Mr. Perez very easy to deal with and am pleased and impressed with the quality his finished product. Having done some prior investigation of costs, I found the price for the job eminently reasonable. I would recommend him highly.

Job was performed as specified in the time period stated. Jose and his crew showed expertise at all stages. I had no problems to speak of and would use Perez Painting again.

Jose Perez is on time, on task, and on budget. He gets high marks for all, especially communication.

All work was begun in January with two interruptions of several weeks and completed in March of 2008, some of it by weather. No problems were created by the interruptions. Painters were careful with masking and clean-up, and were responsive to concerns and requests. They installed two bat houses for me under the upper eaves. Mr. Perez provided good advice regarding paint selection. The experience was completely satisfactory. The house looks much better and is much more water-tight thanks to his decision to caulk.
