I was not very pleased with the overall experience. I was happy with the work except for the fact that they did not finish. I have called them several times and have gotten no response. Their work was not finished in the time I was told they would be. The man complained the whole time he was here about how tired he was.

George is a true hardwood-floor craftsman. He said ''trust me, I will make it beautiful,'' and he was as good as his word. He never took shortcuts, and the result is a stunning floor. He made many suggestions for adding features, including the use of a contrasting color for accent. He suggested and completed a frame around the dining table, using darker wood to form the frame and crosswise orientation of the boards inside the frame. He was more interested in making sure we loved the result than in getting the job done quickly. After completion he insisted on holding to his original estimate, even though he had done much more work than planned. I had to twist his arm to get him to accept more money, which I thought he earned. If you want a beautiful floor and an honest, reliable installer, call George. But remember you are dealing with a craftsman, not a corporation -- give him the time he needs to make your floor beautiful.
