Gosh, it was such a pleasure working with Nick. He was professional and friendly and answered our many questions. He diagnosed the problem whereby others really didn't know what they were doing.

Nick was professional in every sense of the word. He showed-up on time, set expectations of the services and cost, was polite and enjoyable to speak with, and fixed the problem with the sprinkler zone on my slope. It turned out to be a hard problem to diagnose and fix, but he did it. I was so happy with the results that I asked him to expand another sprinkler zone for my raised garden beds. I couldn't be happier with his work.

Nik was great! I most appreciated that he knew what he was doing, from finding hidden valve boxes, to valve replacement and rewiring, to adjusting the heads, to understanding the backwash system. He was responsive, punctual, knowledgeable, reasonably priced, and did the work on the same day. He guarantees his work, so if something isn't right, he'll come back out to fix it. He's a keeper, I'll call him in the future!

Very professional and thorough

Exactly what I needed, and nothing I didn't. Other companies came out and wanted to re-do the whole backyard, or install extras and make the job bigger than I needed. 
Nick knows what he's doing, and knows what he is talking about. He took a look at my existing set-up, and gave sound advice for a low-maintenance automated solution. For example, whereas others wanted to convert all of my sprinklers to drip (a bigger job), Nick pointed out that drip lines can be more maintenance, and also do not work well for ground cover. His initial assessment was not to convert any lines to drip, in fact, and I appreciated that he wasn't just trying to inflate the job.
On the actual installation, he buried the electrical and drip lines where needed, and the job was professionally done; it looks great! He also adjusted made adjustments to all the sprinkler heads in the backyard, not just the areas he was working on, and I appreciate him going the extra mile.

Nick arrived on time and quickly confirmed my suspicion that the problem was a broken controller. He went out and purchased a new controller for my sprinkler, installed it, programmed it, and explained how to program it in the future.

My irrigation system shutoff valve broke and became stuck in the closed position. I called Irritech and scheduled a visit. Nick came on time, looked at the valve, explained the problem and started the repair immediately. Less than an hour later he was done, and everything works great. He cleaned up where he dug, and answered a few more questions for me about my system . Would definitely recommend for any sprinkler repair work.

Nick did a fantastic job. Conscientious and professional. Nick showed up the same day I called and began the work later that day as he finished a previous job earlier than expected. There was no pressure on any aspect and Nick listened and found a solution for whichever issue was discussed. It was a pleasure to have Nick do the work.

We recently purchased a home that was a foreclosure and therefore we had no information on the irrigation system. I was able to manually turn on the 4 valves I could find and the sprinklers worked, but we couldn't get the timer to communicate with the sprinkler system.
I called one company about repairing our system and they said they usually just put in new sprinklers and charge $1 per square foot of yard space. I knew my sprinklers worked but scheduled the appointment anyway. After hanging up, I estimated that our front yard alone was around 700 square feet ($700). So I felt I was looking at a charge of around $1000 for our front and back yards. That was way more than I wanted to spend.
So I did a search online and found Irritech's website. The questions the owner Nick posed were my questions exactly: Has your system stopped responding to your timer? Do you just need someone to check your system over? He offered free assessments and mentioned that he focuses on repairs and leaves new installations to the big guys. It sounded like what I was looking for. I called for an appointment hoping they could come out before my appointment with the other company. Initially they weren't able to, but they called the next day to say they would be in the area that day if I was available which I was.
Nick came over and I showed him our system and asked him what he thought. He said we'd need a new timer ($175). He also noticed that a whole set of sprinklers weren't working because someone had removed one of the valves. He also noted a leak on another valve. The cost of 2 new valves would be $190. He said he'd check to make sure that all the sprinkler heads and sprinklers were functioning properly and that they would respond to the timer. He estimated the total cost would be $365 and said if it turned out that more work was needed and the cost would increase, he'd let me know first. He also said he could do it right then if I wanted. Perfect!
He left briefly to go pick up the parts he needed. When he returned he got straight to work. I followed him around to learn how the system works so that I can handle minor repairs in the future. He explained everything he was doing and answered all my questions.
He installed the new timer and the 2 new valves. He set the timer. He tested that the timer communicated with all 5 valves, which it did. He then went through each valve one at a time to see make sure all the sprinklers for that valve were working and noted any issues. He replaced several sprinklers and several sprinkler heads. He explained the problem with each sprinkler/head as he went and now I feel capable of troubleshooting issues that may arise in the future. He made sure all the sprinklers were aimed properly and that they were also spouting the appropriate amount of pressure.
He seemed extremely knowledgeable, well beyond his years. He said his father is in the same line of work and that he'd started working with him when he was 12 or 13. He was polite, courteous, pleasant. He had to dig up some of the sprinklers to replace them and some dirt got on our patio which he hosed off before he left. He disposed all the broken parts and trash from the repair.
I couldn't be more pleased. I thought I was going to have to pay around $1000 and ended up paying only $365 for a very fine job.He guarantees his work for one year. Once we get our landscaping in and add some raised beds, I plan to call Nick out to augment our system as needed - add some drip irrigation and maybe an additional bubbler. I feel confident he'll do a great job for a very fair price.

Nick came out of his usual service area and assessed our irrigation system since the water was not reaching all the landscaped areas. Almost all the valve solenoids were in need of replacement and were restricting the water flow through the valves. Over the course of two days, he replaced all of the automatic valves and a number of the actual sprinkler heads. I should mention he used high quality components that cannot be purchased at a warehouse store. He cleaned up any left over or used items and tolerated our dogs. A very professional job.
