G S CUSTOM PAINTING

This is the second time I've used them, once again a great job. The workers were prompt and amazingly clean. When they were done, the house sparkled with new paint and I would never have guessed they were there...no paint splotches on the cement, no leftover paint supplies. Plus, a beam had some water damage on its end so they trimmed off the bad wood, and they filled in other areas of the trim that had degraded. Great work!

They came over and gave me a quote and a timeline. They were very reasonably priced and in general i trusted the owner. They finished on time and couldnt believe they got it done in just one day and they did a great job. Very professional. I will absolutely use them again. I wish i had known about them prior to getting the majority of the interior of my house painted by a much more expensive person who took a long time and did no better of a job.

Sam and his crew were professional, courteous, and very detailed oriented. Sam was there at the beginning of each day and was their at the end. Very refreshing to see someone in charge come to check on the progress of work and be available to answer questions, address concerns, and follow up. I would hire them in the future and recommend them to anyone looking for quality work at a reasonable price.

Went very well, there were a couple of areas on second floor deck that were missed first time, when I pointed it out, they immemdiately came back and actually redid a couple of other areas that they thought did not look at finished as they should have.

We had G S Custom Painting prepare an estimate for the job and they gave us the best estimate out of three estimates. We agreed to have them paint our exterior stucco and all the trim. The co-owner, Sam, prepared the estimate and arrived on teh appointed day to start the project. They power washed the entire exterior and began caulking and masking the next day. They started the project on a Wednesday and finished the project on Saturday afternoon. The entire crew was very punctual, thorough and quite courteous ! They worked the entire day, each day and finished when they said they would. They did a very satisfactory job and we would definitely contract with Sam to do another project!

After several interviews with different painters, we decided to go with GS Custom Painters. Our decision was based on Sam's professionalism and the price. We were a little skeptical on his quote saying they would be able to get the job done in 2 days, but he was spot on. His crew showed up on time and worked nonstop from 8:00 am until 4:30 pm with a short lunch break. The crew were very courteous and polite. Sam made several trips to the house to paint small patches of samples on several different walls. This helped us choose the right color based on different lighting for each wall . I would definitely use GS Custom Painting again.

They were very knowledgeable and very flexible. They knew their paint and applications. Their workers were outstanding. They were just great all the way around.

We have been very happy with the entire experience. We initially chose them because their prices were competitive and we were impressed with Sam's professionalism. We would highly recommend them and will be using them again.

Everything went well. The two men who run the company were very hands-on just as their workers were throughout the process.

Submitted a complete and timely quotation. Sam (an owner) was involved from the initial contact and was involved throughout the process. The workmanship, attention to detail and communication made this project a "very good" experience from day one. The crews were hard working and cleaned-up their work areas every day to minimize the impact of the work being completed. A very professional job!

Sam did an excellent job and was very helpful in the process of color selection. He was prompt and flexible Although he was not here the entire time, he came frequently to supervise his crew, answer any questions I had, and keep me apprised of his concerns, if any. As his crew was finishing up on the last day, I called Sam to ask him to add a long fence which I had not planned to have painted to the job. He readily agreed to do this for an additional $100 which I thought was very reasonable, especially since his crew was in the process of finishing up at that point.

He came over the same day I called for a bid. He came back a second time to answer questions for my wife. We were both very impressed with his professionalism and attention to detail. Once the contract was signed, he started and completed the job within the time frame he promised. We have substantial landscaping next to the house that we were concerned about and Sam and his crew were very careful not to spill any paint on the plants or damage any of the landscaping. He promised our house would look like a new one when they were finished and we're very happy that it truly does. We were impressed by the professionalism of not only Sam but also of his crew.

There is not much to say other than he did a great job. No mess and great job.

Sam and his brother came to the house promptly, and prepared a very professional quote on the spot. They explained all of the work to be done, including prep, paint used and working schedule. Their crew arrived promptly and finished the job in about 4 working days. Great care was taken to avoid any paint spill, (lots of masking tape on windows, protecting plants with tarps) and they cleaned up completely after the job was finished. A thoroughly professional job at the lowest price quoted.

Excellent! Highly recommended. G S Custom painting is the best! We have used them now on multiple occasions after initially finding them on Angie's List a couple of years ago and would not use anyone else from now on. Sam and the entire crew are exceptionally reliable, trustworthy, fair, and hard working. The crew got there first thing in the morning and worked all day, well until the afternoon, to make sure that job was completed to our satisfaction. We were thrilled with the work, and very grateful for fitting us into their busy schedule and getting the job done so quickly.

THE PAINTERS ARRIVED ON TIME ON THE DAY REQUESTED, AND THE WORK CREW WORKED DILIGENTLY THROUGHOUT THE 3 DAY PERIOD WITHOUT ANY EVIDENCE OF SLACKING, EVEN WHEN THE SUPERVISOR WAS TEMPORARILY NOT PRESENT. GS PROVIDED A CREW OF 3-5 WORKERS, USING SPRAY FOR LARGER AREAS AND STUCCO, AND HAND BRUSHING FOR TRIM AND SIDING. PAINT QUALITY WAS EXCELLENT AND PER SPEC. ALL BARE WOOD WAS PRIMED FIRST. ALL WINDOWS WERE COVERED DURING PAINTING. PLANTS WERE WELL PROTECTED. A BROKEN ROOF TILE WAS QUICKLY REPLACED WITH A SPARE. THEY SPRAYED UNDER THE EAVES, AND ALL TRIM WAS COATED TWICE. OTHER PAINTERS HAD QUOTED HIGHER PRICES, AND WANTED A WEEK OR MORE FOR THE TASK TO BE COMPLETED. THESE GUYS WERE WELL ORGANIZED AND SEEMED TO KNOW THEIR SKILLS. THIS IS A FAMILY BUSINESS, AND THEY WORKED TOGETHER WELL, WERE HELPFUL WHEN I HAD QUESTIONS, AND MADE NO CHANGES WITHOUT MY PERMISSION. THEY CHEERFULLY MADE CHANGES I REQUESTED AND OFFERED GOOD SUGGESTIONS WHERE APPROPRIATE.

A FATHER/SON COMPANY. THEY WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL AND COURTEOUS. I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM TO EVERYONE. NOT THE CHEAPEST OUT THERE, BUT YOU'LL BE HAPPY! ASK FOR SAM.
