+ 1 moreThe job was scheduled for two days. Right off the bat he broke the original wood trim prying it off and two glass panes with the original wavey glass. He spent almost a full day fixing the two broken panes (with cheap modern glass) which allowed him only 1 day to rehang all four windows.... So now he was in a rush and did everything very quickly, cheaply, amateurishly and ugly. I had to insist he replace all the ropes as originally promised. I also got involved scraping because HE was afraid he'd break more glass panes. He was packing up when I tried several windows which didnt work so he pried and waxed them until they finally moved. I had to patch, sand and paint all the trim. And now, less than a month later 2 of the 4 windows don't work so I will have to redo them.... He talks a good game but does not deliver.
Description of Work: He was hired to scrape, recaulk, reglaze and rehang four double hung/sash windows in a 100 year old house
