Cardona's crew arrived on time and worked steadily until the job was done, a period of about 5 days. Modern construction equipment and methods (Bobcat excavator, surveyors' transit, etc.) and a professional crew were employed. I was happy with the process, the end result, and now four years later, I'm still proud of the finished product. I'd hire Cardona Pave Stone, Inc. again.
Description of Work: My neighbors had some extensive pave-stone work done in their back yard that they were happy with and looked good to me, so I hired Cardona Pave Stone, Inc. to remove an old concrete drive way and replace it with a new pave-stone drive way. The area was a simple, straight rectangle 10-1/2 feet wide by 75 feet long, or 791 square feet (cost worked out to $14.19/square foot. including permit). A detailed contract was provided, calling for Cardona to demolish and remove the existing concrete driveway, remove existing earth to a depth of 9-1/2 inches, apply a 6 inch layer of "road-bed" material (Class II aggregate base material), compact this base, apply 1 inch of bedding sand, level and install pave stones.
