Brads Handyman Services - Unlicensed Contractor

Brad claims to charge more for higher-quality work, but that was not reflected in my experience. He rescheduled last-minute, showed up unprepared, and asked us for cash because he forgot his wallet. He took 7 hours to mount one TV (crookedly), hang a few photos (some uneven), and install an outlet. He did not finish the job? leaving a second TV and a mirror undone? Yet still charged us $520. I now have to pay someone else to fix everything. I am incredibly disappointed I even gave him a chance. Definitely not the professionalism or quality you would expect from someone with premium pricing. He was suppose to come back to ?fix? what he messed up later because he said he could not work anymore and is too tired. When you make a commitment to doing a job and doing it right you finish the job. I am so disappointed in myself for ever trusting him. He misrepresented his skill set. Please avoid. Although he is a nice man he is sloppy.

Thank you Brad, for the superb, excellent professional work!! Brad has professional experience in all areas. He put in our patio french doors and I was amazed at his great attention to detail. He also installed our screen, put carpet on the stairs and wired in our light into the ceiling. Everything he worked on was professionally and exceptional done!! He is a true gem, his prices are much more than fair. I highly recommend Brad for his expertise and exceptional quality of work!!

Punctual and good communication throughout the job. The repairs were completed on time and Brad did a great job.

I hired Brad to do a PROFESSIONAL job trimming all of my trees in the front and back yard. He had an older man with him and it took them 4 days to do what should have been a 2-day job, then complained because it took them longer. They bid the job at 1100 dollars. Including unclogging my drains around the pool, and he only did 2 of them, after saying he did them all. I noticed they were not unclogged after I used a hose to check the next day, so he had to come back and unclog the last 2. He was supposed to trim everything, including my giant birds of paradise, and did not even touch them. He did NOT know what he was doing at ALL with my fruit trees, he was supposed to just go in, and get rid of the clogged branches on the INSIDE of the trees, which he NEVER DID (I Had to do this MYSELF). What he did do was CHOP the trees down, so much it will take YEARS to get fruit again. I am more than bummed. I am devastated. Brad may be good at handyman things, I do not know. BUT I WOULD NOT LET HIM NEAR your trees.

Brad was great! Came out the next day to mow our lawn, when I was on a time crunch. He sent photos after the job was done, beautiful work! Would highly recommend.

Brad is reliable, seems to know how to efficiently provide a service and cleans up after he is done.

Brad came to look at the work I needed twice to give estimates. The day he was to do the work he didn't have the right tools. He tried to hammer the drain in my tub out by force and chipped the porcelain. He didn't clean up the shards from the tub and when my friend went to take a shower he cut his feet on the debris. He was defensive and argumentative when I expressed my disappointment and he said his time had been wasted by me. Charged $25 to change a light bulb.

Prompt & arrived when he said he would. Very professional and performed the highest quality work. He did the job he was hired for plus a little extra for no additional cost. I would hire Brad again with no reservations at all.

Brad was very professional, arrived on time, completed on schedule and cleaned up everything. I will definitely be using Brad again. Actually I am already putting a list together for my next projects.

Brad was a lot of help from beginning to end, to get the right parts and installing them.

hired Brad to hang drywall and mud 2 walls and a ceiling in my garage. I got bids and his was the best. My mistake. Brad said it would take a couple of days. A week later I ended up with the WORST job imaginable. I have gaping holes, untapped seams, some seams plastered with horrific mounds of mud. It will take a month for me to try and fix this mess or cost me $1000 to get someone else fix it. I haven't been this upset in 20 yrs. I wish I could post pictures. Please keep in mind that just because Home Advisor has a handyman service doesnt mean you'll get a good service tech. Do your homework. And read all reviews.

Nice drywall work on our bathroom ceiling. Brad took his time to get the job done right. Very timely on his arrival the first day. Had to return several times due to need for drying time. Much appreciated!!
