After a long period I called to find out what was happening. The first call yielded they were working on it. The second that the first spring they put in broke and they were waiting to put in another one. The last call yielded that they were adjusting the accuracy. At last I got the clock. It loses about 10 minutes a week.

Gave most of the details above. His shop is in Carlsbad, CA and I am near Palm Springs so it's a 3-hour trip for him to come to the desert weekly, but he does it. Is almost always on time, too, in spite of the long trip.

When I relocated I detached certain parts of my Danaker Grandfather Clock for my move. Once in my home I couldn't figure out how to re-attach the pendulum. Bob Bixler came to my home and re-attached the pendulum, oiled the parts, set the time and moon phase and softened the sound of the chimes. He was very friendly and professional. I have other clocks that need repair. Once I locate them when I unpack I will definitely go there to have them repaired.

It went perfectly, I explained service above, doesn't require a lot of detailed explanation, I know Bob spent about an hour with my clock, he knows what he's doing and I would trust him absolutely with any timepiece.
