He was very quick with us for the work, doing the work the same day . He went above and beyond with hooking up the dryer and vent hose for us as well.

Wouldn't provide an estimate before coming. Brought the incorrect repair part. Did not bring a new valve so had to leave to purchase a new valve. And then both men left instead of one staying to remove the old valve and one purchasing the valve. We were charged for entire time including their travel time to purchase parts. And did not give us the 10% Senior Discount offered on Angie's List even though I reminded him of such.

Great When I first talked to Al he walked me through some items to see if I could do the repair myself. Once we figured out the level of the repair needed he immediately came over the next morning. By noon that day he had replaced my water heater, brought it up to code and charged a very fair amount. He also removed lines and capped them that were no longer in use that was not related to the water heater replacement. Al is old school and I very much appreciated his honesty as well as trying to work through the problem. Two other companies, they remain anonymous but both are on TV, came out and didn't look at the water repair heater to repair but just gave me an extremely high cost to replace. I have found my "go to" plumber. Thank you Al1

We called ABC plumbing for help with 3 issues: 1) Replace /repair shower knob. The water on/off –push/pull knob in our shower broke off and pieces inside the knob the broke. It had gotten very stiff and difficult to turn water on/off and shut off (or turn knob to adjust temp) before this happened. 2) Repair or replace toilet refill/flapper mechanism. After extremely high water bills showing a 2-3 fold increase in our water usage vs same 4 months last year, we checked the toilets and discovered one was continuously refilling at full speed (not just dripping or shutting off &on). Since it was overfilling at such a high rate the water level was over the refill tube and thus the sound was not as loud or obvious as the refill just after flushing (water was filling directly into tank water – muffling the sound). We turned the water to toilet off immediately but by that time we had already wasted at least $400-$500 in excess water bills for water/money that literally went straight down the drain. 3) Check for any additional water leaks in case the running toilet did not completely account for all the increases in water bills. After much research we settled on hiring ABC PLUMBING based on the Angie’s list reviews and what we learned about the owner, Allan Cyr -and we are so glad we did. Allan, the owner actually came and did the work himself. He took care of the known problems (#1&2 above) and the shower and toilet work better than ever now. He also checked and determined there were no other leaks, but found our water pressure was too high, so he replaced the water regulator to help avoid more problems in the future. He has an incredible amount of experience and takes pride in his work. Allan has all the tools and parts in his truck that a huge company would have, yet he does all the work himself. His prices seem reasonable ($722.23 parts and labor), especially with the extra care he takes to do high quality work and make sure all problems are solved. Unfortunately we forgot to ask for Angie's list or senior discount. He also offered so many valuable tips on how to avoid or deal with potential plumbing issues in the future. Most important Allan was an honorable man you can feel very comfortable having him in your home.

Al was the first to return my call, and came out quickly. I was also not hit with an "emergency fee" for showing up the same day. I was extremely impressed with how thorough Al and Stacy were in approaching my problem. They quickly went to work to diagnose the issue and set about fixing it. The way my home is built has some quirks that cane make repairs difficult even for professionals. You would not know that from watching these guys work. They had seen it all before. Just fantastic. The value for the level of service is unparalleled and I could not be happier with what they did or the advice the provided. ABC Plumbing is now my plumber.

Al of ABC Plumbing is truly a master plumber with over 50 years of experience. He was accompanied by his assistant who is a highly skilled tradesman as well. They did a GREAT job. They were very punctual, professional, and personable. Al is actually the owner of ABC so he takes tremendous pride in customer service. He has every tool imaginable ready in his truck so there is no unnecessary wait time in the event your job requirement is unusual or complex. I would definitely recommend ABC Plumbing and would absolutely hire them again.

These are exactly the type of guys I look for to add permanently to my list. They've been in the business long enough to know all the little details, they're careful to do everything exactly the way it should be done with no shortcuts, they work at a steady pace even when I'm kibitzing and asking questions, then wrap up, clean up, done. Wonderfully. I'm helping a relative with some deferred home maintenance since her husband died. Much has gone undone for many years. Who knows how long the sink had been plugged up. Al and his helper arrived right on time, removed pipes and garbage disposal to reveal a horizontal drain pipe nearly completely plugged up with years of sediment and black gunk. They used their electric snake to unplug, then wound up rerouting the drain pipe to the companion sink drain, capped the old one (which can now be used as a clean out), and installed a new garbage disposal. All this took over five hours. My relative, who is very suspicious of strangers and was reluctant to have a plumber come into her house, was very pleased that she can now use the sink. She also appreciated the jokes that Al's helper told us during the day. She is willing to call ABC again for any other plumbing repairs. I had been worried about having unknown plumbers come into her house as she is so reluctant to let unknown people into her house. But it went better than I could have hoped, and she no longer views Al & helper as strangers. It was a pricey repair, but not excessive, for two people for five plus hours, for a drain stopped up for many many years. Thank you ABC Plumbing.

Al does a great job. I manage a number of properties and count on him to alway be there, even for emergencies, and do a great job at a great price. I highly recommend Al! You can't go wrong!

Contacted Al mid morning after receiving note thgat tenant water heater failed. He was able to coordinate with tenant and replace same day. Have used them several times over 8 years. Excellent service and support. Provided photos of completed job with invoice.

Al was excellent! He is Very knowledgeable, efficient, and fair. As a single woman, I know nothing about plumbing. He took the time to explain everything to me and empowered me to be more proactive with identifying potential future issues and how I could problem solve on my own before contacting a plumber. I added Al as a contact in my phone book because he's a keeper! A bonus is Al and his side kick Stacey are dog friendly (dog treats and all!)

Again, the above applies and Al has always completed the jobs.  Overall, I believe his pricing is very fair and I would call him again for any and all plumbing problems that I might have in the future.

He did a good job as he always does. In the past he has replaced hot water heaters, fixed leaks, replaced faucets and installed the plumbing for a new sink and many other jobs. He has always been a dependable and responsible guy. I would highly recommend him.
