ESCAPE NAILS AND DAY SPA

When I walked in they were fairly busy. They said they will be with me in a few minutes and to choose a color for the nail polish. When a massage chair became available, they appeared to rinse out the wash basin and fill it up again. They had me come over to the chair. I waited 40 minutes before someone came and began to work with me. I was making a motion that I was leaving when they rushed over to my chair. They apologized for the wait and then began to prepare for the pedicure. The lady asked if I wanted my nails trimmed - I said no. She did it anyway saying that if I wanted to have square cut then it needs to be trimmed. She trimmed my nails extremely short. I have never had any other manicurist do this on me. I hope that I don't get ingrown toenails. Although every other client was being massaged on their legs and feet, my lady just put a towel on my legs and then proceeded to paint my toenails. At the end, she only charged me $10 (which is $2 less than the posted price). I think she felt bad for the lack of service. It seemed as if this place was a sweatshop - I should have trusted my instincts and left when I sat in the massage chair for over 40 minutes before anyone came to assist me. Needless to say, I will not be going to this place again.
