Chimney Cricket's price was reasonable. I have had no problems with his work. They were on time to do the work.

When I moved into my house in Aptos, the flue was stuck in the open position and the chimney was choked with creosote. I called around and found that many chimney service providers were unresponsive or quoted 4 week lead times. While busy, the Chimney Cricket scheduled an appointment within 2 weeks and after a cancellation was able to pull the appointment in w/n 10 days. Chimney Cricket was very professional. They laid down protective sheets and tented the fireplace while the work was performed. Despite a poorly designed flue, they were able to repair and rebuild the flue pivot, and to clean my chimney thoroughly, all in about 2 hours.
