The quality of the work was amazing. Crown moulding and door were installed in one day. Ken and his assistant did a fantastic job.  From previous experience with crown moulding installation in Chicago i expected 2-3 days of work.
The painters he had come in the next day did a great job on painting the rooms and the crown moulding. they were professional, considerate of the carpeting and floors and were very neat.

I was competing with others who wanted to use Ken's services prior to the big holidays coming. Ken was able to rearrange his schedule to meet our installation timetable. A very response and accommodating  man who kept true to his word and arrive ready to work on the agreed upon date. I suspected that the installation work would take at least 2 days but Ken had two well trained employees with him that knew exactly what to do, how to correctly measure/mark and get it all accomplished efficiently and exactly right the first time. It all went like clockwork and they were done with the installation .....in under 5 hours ( prepping, sealing and painting was done over the course of the following two work days). 
My wife has an eye for detail and is exacting in many other ways. The end appearance, from the lack of visible seams to precise painting of smooth and straight lines was exactly what we both found when the job was finished. The price was within our family budget and I would recommend The Crown Molding Co (Ken Crow owner) to friends and family if asked for a recommendation.

The best compliment I can pay Ken is he's a standup guy. He showed up the same day I called him for an initial estimate. He gave me options to work within our budget and put everything in writing. He and the Crown Moulding crew said they would show up at 8 am and they did just said on both days. They worked hard the entire time they were at our house, made us feel comfortable the entire time they were working and they took the time to sweep up afterward. Ken even helped me move our sofas, bookcases and bed back after the crew was done on the second day. My wife is 8 months pregnant and we wanted the job done ASAP. The Crown Moulding Co. had no problem working on Dec. 23rd and Dec. 24th and finished the whole house in two days. Everything looks beautiful. Some of that was real stained wood, but the majority was the more flexible type of crown molding. They did spectacular work on the slotted cuts where they go around the vents or the air-conditioning returns. Everyone that has been in our home has commented on their work. They were referred to me from our realtor.
