Love love love the job that Tony & his son did for me. Tony IS a perfectionist and it shows. I couldnt stop thanking him. They got to my house on time & stayed til 5pm each day. They cleaned up the area inside & out before leaving each evening. Did I mention that I LOVE my floor!!!.....He totally worked around my schedule.

Tony recently completed the tile work in a remodel of one of our bathrooms, and it looks great!! He is definitely a true craftsman. Tony is very attentive to details and his work is of very high quality. And, considering everything that he gave us (which included great service), we felt that his fee was very reasonable. Tony's work involved completing the demolition, building a new walk-in shower, retiling the floor, and tiling the walls outside the shower about 3 feet up from the floor. More details are below.
The demolition work involved ripping out a wall, removing the old bathtub, toilet, vanity, and floor tile. He floated new shower walls, as well as the floor outside the shower. Tony arranged for the hot mop, completed all the tile work, which included the shower, the floors, and walls. He built a box inside the shower to hold shampoo etc. and little soapbox. Lastly, he installed wainscoting outside the shower, which really adds to the look.
This was a complete remodel, so there were a number of tradesman involved in the project. Along with this came various scheduling challenges. To make things more complicated, I acted as my own general contractor and this was my first project. Tony was extremely patient and worked with us on these challenges Lastly, we were very comfortable with having Tony in our house.
Needless to say, Tony has my highest recommendation. We'll be asking him back to do our other two bathrooms and kitchen when it comes time to complete this work.

Tony came on time for the quote. Came on time to do the work. Put in a new sub floor and tiled the floor. Did a great job and cleaned up after himself. Very professional. Would certainly feel comfortable recommending him. Have similar work done up here in Camarillo for $300, but w/o the new subfloor. Tile looked good, but grout wasn't sealed properly, or something is seeping up through the grout, etc. Guess you get what you pay for.

Kenz Plumbing via Angie's list - Ken returned our call. He said they'd be there Saturday between 7am - 5pm. Andy called within 10 mins. from his cell, but Scott showed up. - $135 for that house call all A-okay.
Called the next time and it was 2 hrs before I received a call back (he said it was now too late to come and he'd be there at 10AM or would call. No show, no call, I called his cell 2x and finally called his boss at 2:45P, Ken said he'dl have him call me. Within the hour, Scott called, came over and unplugged toilet and only charged $65 because of all the trouble.

The whole process went well. Tony and his son were very professional. He helped me pick out the tile at the tile store. The whole process amazed me. The shower stall is beautiful, more than I hoped for. Very happy with the whole experience.

We couldn't be more pleased. While we bought the materials, the craftsmanship he applied was well worth it. Professional, prompt, clean, close attention to detailand hellip; I plan to call this company in the future. His phone number is a keeper! First day was floating the floor... I was going to install the backer board myself but am so glad I took his advice on "floating" the floor. It's a much more stable platform. As a result we were able to minimize the tile spacing to one eighth inch. It looks GREAT! Second day was setting tile. Accurate cuts for all the tricky tiles. House was spotless each night. Third day was sand-less grout... it really looks great. At that point I asked him to quote us for our master bath. I'm an engineer and I can be quite pickyand hellip; you will not regret Tony's work.

Tony and his son showed up when promised. They completed the work each day and cleaned up thoroughly at the end of each day. The quality of the work was second to none. I would highly recommend Tony for any work that needs to be done. I will definitly use him again when the need presents itself again. I am recommending him to my father-in-law who also wants a bathroom tile installation. Excellent, excellent, excellent!

Tony Franks and his sons did a fabulous job of removing our old tile floor and installing our new one. They took their time and did it right. The results speak for themselves. The job of removing ceramic tile flooring is, of necessity, a messy one. Tony and the boys did not leave our house a cloud of dust. They were very careful and and tidy. They vacuumed and sponged down the floor when they were done. The installation took 3 days. Watching them work was a pleasure because they were so meticulous and took such pride in job they were doing. The results are wonderful. The floor is gorgeous. I would also like to commend Tony on something else. One pays by the square foot for tile removal and installation. I had very carefully measured the area to be tiled before I got my first estimate so I knew precisely how much I should be charged. The first 2 companies that came to look at the job estimated the at 70 square feet more than it actually was. That means they were going to overcharge me more than $400 in labor costs. Tony measured the job and came in at the precise number of square feet. That means he's someone you can trust. We will work with him again.
