The water stain is still getting bigger when it rains. He said that it was not getting bigger, but I had a picture to prove that it had gotten bigger since he supposedly fixed it. He went to look at the roof and then left. I called him to ask what was going on and he said nothing was wrong with it. I told him the stain had gotten bigger and he started yelling and screaming at me.

Great, Mark gave me a ballpark price as he suspected more tiles were damaged than I knew about. He was right on target and his end price ended up at the low end of his spectrum.

As far as the quality of work, it was excellent. He not only fixed what we knew was wrong, and a addressed other hidden issues as well.

Mark was terrific.  He inspected the roof and offered to show me what he found.  Mark showed me the area where the leak was and recommended a solution to repair it.  He also pointed out some other issues (broken tiles, etc?) and offered to repair/replace those as well.  We agreed on a price that I felt was reasonable for the work being done.  On the day of the job, Mark and his crew showed up on time and completed everything in 2 hours.  He showed me the work area and explained what they had done.  They cleaned up after themselves and left no sign that they had been there.  I can't say enough about how great Mark was and I highly recommend him to anyone in need of roof repairs!  I would absolutely use him again.

Great, I had other roofers out to look at our roof issues and the other roofers were happy to sell a $15,000 job without knowing the exact problem.  I only trust Mark now to actually know what needs to be fixed. He has saved us soo much money by fixing the real problems instead of just reroofing everything.  His experience and knowledge is impressive. He and his partner are professional and clean, and really nice guys, too!  I strongly recommend Mark Thyden of Rainbow Roofing.

For example, we had some leakage during extremely heavy rains in our garage. the other company wanted to change half the roof. Mark determined that the channel connecting  the roof over the house and the roof over the garage needed to be wider to conduct a higher volume of water. this fixed our problem.

Several years later we had some leakage in our kitchen at a point where a single story roof met the wall that goes up to the second floor. Another roofer looked briefly and determined that the roof over the single story section needed replacing.  Mark was able to determine that the leak actually came from something in particular on the roof of the second story, and travelled down some studs to leak inside on the first floor.   I know that explanation might be confusing, but the point is he really caught the problem and saved us money. He also saved us from repairing the wrong item.

Mark is always very responsive and does quality work.  I have used his services both on my house and on our rental.  He is always cheerful and always is very reasonable in his pricing.  I wish I could take him with us when we move to Northern California next month.

On day of repairs he and his worker showed up on time, did the work in a timely manner and went over what was done that day.  He stayed within the amount he estimated for the repairs.  He was very friendly and courteous and I would recommend him to anyone that has roof problems or needed repairs.

Mark is awesome. He is a true gentlemen and did an awesome job on the patio deck. I would encourage anyone to us Rainbow Roofing as the owner is a true professional and explains things in simple terms. They cleaned up so well you would have never known they were here. Highly recommend!!

He showed up the appointed time and provided the estimate in the first visit. And we scheduled the time for real work and he brought another person to work on it. It hasn't rained yet since they fixed the roof so I cannot say how completely they fixed but as far as their attitude and openness for what they did, I'm satisfied. And he gave one year warrantee for what he's done so I don't worry about the roof any more.

Mark and his helper did a great job.  He explained everything that he was going to do; he let me know when he found a couple of broken tiles and he replaced them.  They also cleaned everything up nicely.  He was arrived and finished exactly when he said he would and the price was a little less than his initial quote.

I found Rainbow Roofing through Angie's List, and could not be happier.  My husband and I bought a short sale in August.  Recently, we noticed a few concrete tiles slipping.  And because we were not aware of the overall condition of the roof, we really wanted it to be inspected by a professional.  And the owner, Mark, is just that, a true professional who takes care of his clients!  I called Mark to obtain an estimate.  He was at our house the next morning and personally walked the entire roof.  In addition to the few slipping tiles we were aware of, he let us know that we had slipped tiles in other areas including around our skylight and clogged down spouts/gutters.  He provided an estimate on the spot, which seemed reasonable.  After we decided to move forward with the work, Mark, and one additional employee, arrived at our house the next morning.  They walked the entire roof and fixed EVERY single issue we had, including cleaning out the clogged gutters and down spouts.  He even noticed that our elderly neighbor had a few slipped tiles and alerted her as well.  We could not be happier with the service Mark provided.  As new home owners, and of a short sale, it was nice to have someone teach us along the way, explain every single issue to us in layman's terms, and overall take care of everything for us.  If you need your roof addressed, I would not hesitate to call Mark!!

Walked the entire roof and took one of the broken tiles with him to match the color and style when purchasing the replacement tiles.
Explained to me, in as much detail as I requested, the issues found and the repairs required.
Provided a verbal estimate of $600 before he left.
In two hours he had found the exact tile needed and provided a written estimate. The price was still $600.
I agreed to the price and scheduled the work.
Arrived on time with his employee. We had a quick discussion and they got to work.
Work was completed in a couple of hours.
Had me come out and review the roof.
There was no debris of any kind on the roof or on the ground anywhere.
I handed him a check and thanked him and his employee.
After they left we had steady winds of 40 MPH with gusts up to 80MPH. We had no problems at all. Everything is just as they left it.

Came and inspected the roof.  Gave me a quote that same day.  Scheduled an appointment within the week.  Workman came and did the work as agreed.  Very punctual.  The quote/cost was reasonable and the final cost was as estimated.
