I have had the worst experience with this company. I highly recommend NOT using this company, ever. They had told me that a part was "ordered" for almost the last three months. Every time i called i was told its ordered, and twice i was acutally told its been "shipped". They were finally rescheduled to come back out this week, and the day of the work, they called me and told me they cannot do the job because its not in their scope. I was confused, and asked what they meant. They then told me they dont even know the parts to order. This was SO frustrating of course, because I was so boldly lied to for months when I was told the parts were ordered. Now, I learn no parts were ordered and they don't even know what parts needed to be ordered. Please spare yourself and DO NOT work with this unprofessional company

Excellent company. I rate them A+. This company is one of the most helpful I have ever dealt with. The installation went very well. On time and thorough. The representative came several times to help me program my thermostat. The office manager is super-helpful. She went above and beyond to help me when the system was not working quite right, and a tech came to fix the system the next day. If all companies took care of their customers this way, the world would be a kinder place.

Justin and Thomas came to complete the maintenance on my system. i purchased their maintenance program where they will come out twice a year. i decided to go with the silver package because the filters were included. they did a great job, will recommend.

The SoCalGas came by today to light the gas pilot to our heater. He could not get it started. Then he took out a small screw driver and fiddled with a screw. He told me that it was normal after the summer for the fan to get a little dusty. Then the heater started right up. He said it looked just fine. Did not cost me a penny. Now let me tell you about Tassio Temperature Control, Inc. I got a service package for them to evaluate our air conditioner and heater. Two service calls. I paid for in advance. So, when I was having problems starting my heater a specialist came to the house. The last specialist in September told me that the heater was doing very well no problems. The new service man evaluated the heater and wanted to charge me $900.00 for basically turning a screw. Instead he gave me a long list of fees They are called is rip off fees. I’m glad I told him no. He also tried to push the idea of a new furnace. I told him no. Then is wanted to charge me a fee for $76.00 for looking at my heater. (He stuffed my filter back in my furnace like a jerk and I did know that until today) So today I spend a few dollars for a new filter for my heater furnace that is now working just fine. The wise nice Gas man told me the business of how companies like Tassio rip people off. (He used to work for a company like Tassio) We laughed. I should ask for my money back. Can I have it back please? Always get a second opinion.

We needed to replace a 20+ year old HVAC system in our single story 2300 sq ft home, and also wanted to relocate the furnace into our fairly small attic. After getting bids from several contractors we decided to go with Tassio Temperature Control. We worked with Steven on the proposal and found him to be very professional and responsive. The installation team of Mario, Sergio and Daniel did a great job, they were very through and made sure we were consulted as they went along. They replaced our old undersized ducts with all new much larger ducting, and also managed to squeeze in a second return air duct. Coletta & Jennie in the office were very helpful in getting the paperwork done and our rebates filed. We would definitely recommend Tassio.

I have a Trane heating and air conditioning system and they are on the Trane website as being certified to repair or install that kind of A/C system that I have. I have two systems; I have a stand alone system and a system that's called a split system that's on the roof. They cleaned the air filter system that I have which is a purifier kind of thing, they checked the electrical voltage, they checked whether or not there were any leaks so it's been a maintenance program for the most part. They have replaced stuff but that was about a year or two ago. They've been very reliable. What I like about them is that they tend to send the same person out so they get to know me and I get to know them.

They were unable to fix the heater, but that's not why I'm leaving the C review. Not being able to fix a heater is fair enough--it's an older floor heater and I understand that they were not able. The reason they get the C review (and I was tempted to give them a D, but ultimately the guys who came out were very nice, and did their jobs, as promised) is because they just couldn't stop themselves from doing a bait and switch.
When I made the initial phone call to the provider, I spoke with a woman on the phone and made it clear to her that I was not interested in having a salesman come out to estimate a new heating system, that I wanted the old one repaired, and if they could not do that, I would look elsewhere. She told me she understood and would schedule the repair tech for Monday.
On Monday, they showed up on time, they did their diagnostic, and said that the old parts they would need to look out for may or may not be possible. We said that was fine, and to let us know if it could be repaired. They said they had a pro guy, someone who really knew his stuff, who could come in and get the job done. Again, we said great!! That's exactly what we're hoping for.
However, their "pro" was actually a pro salesman who used our time to try to pitch us a new heater, something it had been made very clear we didn't want. And had they told us they were sending a salesman to pitch a new heater, we would have saved everyone the time and frustration of coming out.
It's absolutely fine by me if you can't do something, as a business, but don't lie to me and try to trick me into paying you for a new system.
Made a few more phone calls and found a GREAT guy to come out and fix the old heater. It was not an easy job, and again I don't fault them for not being able to do it, but I was very clear about what I did and didn't want and I wish they had listened.

It was stellar. They had the best workmen, workmanship, and tools I have ever seen. I have probably put in several hundred heating systems in the past forty years.

The woman who answered the phone was superb, as pleasant, informative, and efficient as I have ever encountered. The service man sent was also pleasant, informalve, and efficient. Could not have asked for better service!

Arrived on time; Very courteous; Diagnosed the problem quickly; Repairs were completed within30 minutes; Also performed some minor repairs to reduce noise.

In doing my due diligence I had several air conditioning contractors visit my home to look at what my home needed and provide their solution. I was not looking for the lowest price, but for a top notch company providing me excellent value that
would stand behind their work and the products they sell, service and install.  I found this in Tassio Temperature Control and wanted to share my experience. Bill provided me several different options along with the pros and cons of each and we never felt any pressure so that my wife and I could make an educated and informed decision. Bill Tassio who is the owner is a class act and truly understands and strives for nothing short of 100% customer satisfaction. Nathen who was the project manager performed a detailed analysis of my entire home including the number of windows, square footage, insulation etc. to ensure the system was properly sized for both energy savings and so we would have a well-balanced comfortable home.  The installation started and also completed on the agreed schedule. The entire installation team arrived on time each and every day and showed great care and respect for our home.  Bill and the team took care of every detail such as pulling the required permits, the scheduling of the city inspection not to mention the scheduling of the asbestos abatement. After the installation was completed I noticed a bit of what I perceived as load balance issue so I contacted Bill. He and Andy who I believe to be one of his lead technicians came out the very next day and made a few minor adjustments. The system is awesome and this is a company that I would very highly recommend you give the opportunity to earn your business.  I can?t thank the entire Tassio team enough for a fantastic experience.  I for one am a customer for life.

The representative was on time and extremely professional and personable.  He explained what he was checking, what he was seeing and the solution.  He answered all my questions.  Made sure the unit was working once he replaced the part and discussed the pricing.

They estimated their start date, but due to wanting to finish up a previous job, they ended up starting a few days later than we thought. But they knocked it out in a few days time, and finished by the date we had requested. They relocated the new heater into the attic to make it quieter. Overall they did a great job, and what mess they created was quickly cleaned up. Time will tell, but from what I hear, it is more important WHO installs your system than what system you buy. Because an incorrect install can cause your system to run inefficiently.

It went great, got to my house on time, a nice clean articulate young man.....did his job in a professional, honest manner, was courteous and pleasant. This was a Sunday and was charged regular rates! What a great Company, I would recommend this Company to anyone and everyone.  Their prices are fair, he didn't charge me for parts I didn't need....just did his job and fixed my air conditioner. Gave us an invoice and we paid him. He told us any Repairman would be able to see that the part was going bad. What a wonderful experience!
After the experience I had with another Company on Angie's List that didn't do a complete job, he didn't give us an invoice said he would e-mail us an invoice that's the way he does it now, but we had to pay him....didn't even check the outside unit.....when my husband called him about the labor cost, once we got  the invoice via the email and he questioned the amount for labor being there about 15 minutes......before he hung up on my husband he told my husband to "FU8K OFF" We didn't report him because we don't want problems with foreigners. We have put that experience behind us.  We are very Happy to find Tassio, A wonderful decent, honest, Air Conditioning Company!

Hire these guys! That's the short of it. Here's the long of it... A summer in the San Fernando Valley WITHOUT a/c! ...Don't try this at home....LOL. Our 15 year old cooling coil was completely rusted and the
freon was leaking from the refrigerant lines. The A/C was not blowing
cold air at all... I had two other companies come out to take a look.
Both told me that the system needed to be completely replaced (the
condenser, furnace, and cooling coil.) The problem was, our attic was
very small and the existing unit was not really put in to code/not
enough room around it so both companies said there was no way to get a
new unit into the attic (said they don't make them that small anymore)
and they both advised putting a package unit on the roof. UG. Not happy
about that, but figuring that was the only option, I tried to hire both
of these companies to do the work. But when I called them back to
schedule installment, after repeated attempts, they NEVER returned my
calls!
After seeing an ad for TASSIO, I searched their reviews here on
Angie's List and decided to invite them out for a consultation.
WOW. Jim - an expert heating/air guy and their salesman spent about 2
hours with us looking everything over and said that the other companies
probably didn't want the work because it was a pretty difficult job. And
he definitely did NOT recommend a package unit for the roof. He located
a furnace/coil that was the same size as the one up our attic by Day
& Night and said they could get it up there. Over the next two days,
after we agreed to the work, Jim brought his top foreman (Nathan is a
gem) as well as the owner of the company, Bill Tassio, out to our house
to verify the plans and discuss exactly how they would do this difficult
work. They told us the work would take 3 days and they'd have to cut a
hole in the bathroom ceiling to access the new unit. End result? NO hole
in the ceiling :), 3 days of work by their top crew (Sergio and Mario)
 -  they were just a pleasure to have in the house, a completely clean
install, and all work done exactly as agreed upon at a completely fair
price. We got a new 4 ton a/c and heating system, completely upgraded
duct work (old ducts were too small and air flow was bad), all new
copper refrigerant lines and the best customer service EVER. Highly
recommend. These guys are total pros and they really care about doing a
great job for their clients.

I was pleasantly surprised when my dog Nick took a liking to Jim, the first time they met.  Jim was the salesman who did not attempt to sell me more air conditioning than I needed and provided choices.  He seemed honest and helpful and told me that he would see the job through and be there to meet the technicians when they arrived.  He did all of that and more.  He took my calls about scheduling and Nick was correct, Jim was true to his word and a trustable human.
Jim and I met on a Monday I believe and he was honest in stating that he did not think his technicians would be ready to start on our project until the following Monday.  He also informed me that their company was not the cheapest to be found, but they used Train products (which I was looking for) and that they did not skimp on how they treated their employees.  I liked that.  
When they arrived on Monday morning, Jim was with them.  The very first day the owner, Bill, also checked on how they were doing.  The folks who installed the new system were professional, clean and answered all questions.  
They inspection today, the 5th went well and the system passed the inspector.  He said, "this is a good job."
I would highly recommend this organization for any temperature needs.

The technician arrived on time and diagnosed the problem very quickly. After an inspection, the technician found that the condensing coil was clogged with years of grime (our neglect). The coil was creating condensation which was dripping down to the slab under the furnace. They removed the coil to clean it and reinstalled it.  He worked efficiently and was especially careful to make sure the work area stayed clean.. As a result, our the air flow and cooling efficiency improved. We have since used them for our seasonal maintenance services. These guys are straight shooters.
