Called Thermador for service, they sent KITCHENS ONLY out. John, the first repairman looked at it, ordered a new motherboard, but forgot to order new light kit which was also not working. Gregory, the second repairman came out and installed new motherboard, but had no idea that we also needed the light repaired, which he told us he knew nothing about. He told us he'd order it (again). Weeks later, the reception called to tell us the part was in and scheduled the repair for May 6th between 12: and 5:
At 10:30 on the day, Gregory called to tell us and quot;I screwed up. What is it you need again?and quot; We told him it was the oven light kit! He said he would RUSH ORDER it. On May 12th and 13th I called the office, got a message saying office was closed, though it was during their business hours. On Tuesday, I was able to leave a voicemail, asking what's going on. I then called Thermador directly and they arranged to have it repaired directly, without KITCHENS ONLY. Friday, after the repair was made, Gregory called to ask if he still needed to order parts. We do know how these people stay in business.

Kitchens Only just saved me thousands of dollars! The computer board on my Thermador oven was failing, though otherwise the oven worked fine. Thermador doesn't make parts for that model any more. Eric suggested some other brands I might buy, and mentioned they do know a company that rebuilds those boards, but it would be hundreds of dollars to do it.
Well, it turns out nobody makes a microwave/convection double oven that size anymore. Which meant I would have to remodel my kitchen to fit a larger oven. Which meant new cabinets, granite countertops, possibly a new floor. Suddenly that rebuilt board sounded like a pretty good idea.
KO had a broken board on hand, so they sent theirs to be rebuilt (meaning I could keep using my oven). When the part was back, they came out and installed it, tested the oven and made sure eveything was working. Total time without an oven: 1 1/2 hours.
I can't say enough about this company. They are polite, professional, thorough, and a complete pleasure to do business with. They only work on certain high-end appliances, but I would certainly use them again any time I can.

Repairman was friendly, very knowledgeable, and professional. He knew his stuff for sure. We did have to have him come back a second time because there were multiple clogged drainage areas. He provided us with some helpful tips to hopefully avoid the drainage problems and/or troubleshoot ourselves in the future. Everything drains perfectly now and the dishes are coming out cleaner and dryer. He also changed where the air gap hose was connected and hooked it up to our garbage disposal which should grind up anything that may get passed through there in future. The only slight negative was the pricing which may be a little pricier than some and was a little more than I expected. But overall, this was a good experience with a very experienced repairman who had a lot of expertise on high-end appliances (ours is a Bosch dishwasher, only two years old).

The appointment went very well and it was all done in less than an hour, I think that it helped that I was fairly accurate in describing the problem to the appointment coordinator, the oven didn't reach appropriate temperature for baking and took too long to warm up, also, there was a strong gas smell when we tried to use it. The technician knew right away what the problem was and replaced the faulty ignitors in less than an hour. I now have a working Viking range again, which makes me very happy. The same technician came to my house before to fix a Bosch condensation dryer and the experience was the same, he was very knowledgeable and explained how to properly use it to prevent future problems.

Overall, it was a good experience. They didn't push any parts appaisal, but spent time explaining why the oven didn't appear to be reaching the temp on the nob. I feel satisfied.

As far as I recall, the service was very good. They were prompt. The perosn I called was very knowledgeable and helpful, telling me how the burners worked and what could be wrong. The service rep that came out to fix it was very knowledgeable and got it right the first time. He was very good.

I am extremely pleased even though my dishdrawer hasn't been fixed yet. I am confident that it will be very soon. (As a Fisher Paykel dishdrawer owner you eventually learn to be patient.) The tech, Eric, was very professional, intelligent and personable. It is obvious that he knows what he is doing. He even gave me some useful advice on an unrelated topic. The response in setting up the appointment was excellent, and I was thrilled with the 2 hour appointment window. Plus, I saved $10 by setting up my service request online. Fisher Paykel does not have many authorized service centers and most of them do not have good reviews on sites like Angie’s list. I chose Kitchens Only because it was the one that I could find with only positive reviews. I am so glad that I did.

Called them to come out. They came the next day, but had to order the parts. The parts took a long time to come and the only negative I can say about them is that they didn't communicate very well about this. But as soon as they got the parts, they came back and fixed it very professionally. Nice guy. We told him about a problem with our Griddle that we had repaired once before a while ago. The other company said they had done all that could be done. Peter told us they had fixed it wrong. He would get the part and come back. Will report separately on that repair.

It was very professional and the rates were very reasonable. Because there were no major problems with the dishwashers, they only charged me for labor costs. I have used them in the past for major repairs, and the prices were very reasonable then as well. They seemed very very trustworthy.

Greg responded to my call for the repair with great questions over the telephone. I knew that he would show up actually ready and able to perform the repair. He arrived on time and ready to work. When he immediately began to expertly disassemble the fan hood, I knew I had the right guy. I like to ask questions about repairs, and Greg was friendly and informative. He explained as much as I wanted to know. He knew, before actually looking at the assembly, what was most likely the problem. And he was right. He had the parts (no small thing, I've learned) and quickly replaced the broken part. Greg wrote up the bill, and then regaled me and my husband with stories about himself and his business. I liked the fact that he took care of business first and then chatted after everything had been settled. He is an expert and takes pride in his work.
