They should have told me on the phone that heat pump units don't work when the outside temperature is under 40 degrees. They never should have come out. Instead they tried to sell me a new thermostat (I had just put a new one in 6 months before and it worked perfectly), says they put 2 pounds of freon in my unit (even though they had put 4 pounds in 6 months prior). Billed me $128.30 for basically puttering around and fixing nothing. After they left I called the manufacturer of my thermostat and they told me that heat pumps don't work when the temperature outside is under 40 degrees and that EAC Service should have told me that.

THEY DID THEIR JOB AND ALSO STOPPED SOME LEAKING THAT WAS COMING UNDER THE AIR CONDITIONER. THEY REPLACED THE FILTER AND ADDED SOME THINGS THAT WERE NEEDED IN THE AIR CONDITIONER.
