ATD LOCK SECURITY INC

I've been long overdue to write this review, and this company deserves to be written about. It's the least I can do, and I actually feel bad for taking so long to write it. However I wanted to be very thorough, and unfortunately I did not have the time to write this review for this fine company until now. From the get-go, ATD was easy to get a hold of and to set up an appointment. Amit, the owner, arrived on time and gave me a fair estimate (and I had shopped around a bit). I felt that this was the right company for the job as Amit and I were on the same page as to what needed to be done. He understood my very particular needs; the high level of quality that I was expecting; and the budget that I had to work with. Considering the quality of work; the time that was spent preparing for the large job at hand; and the fantastic end results that were produced, I had to give this company an "A" rating. They were really great. Amit oversaw and/or completed all of the work himself. There were no sub-contractors involved. Amit was very knowledgeable, friendly, helpful, and attentive to detail from beginning to end. He accommodated my every request (and believe me, I am a perfectionist, so I can be a pain in the butt to deal with). The job was completed relatively quick, however it was never rushed and quality was never compromised. They completely cleaned up, never leaving any debris behind at the end of every day as well as when the job was completed. That, to me is very important, as the mess from construction can be very stressful. I have received so many compliments on the work that ATD performed at my home from friends, family, and neighbors (even ones that I don't know). I am ultimately the one who has to be the most complimentary about the finished product though, and I am completely satisfied and then some. What has impressed me equally as much as the actual work completed, is how well they stand behind their work. A few months after the work was completed, one of the gate motors wasn't working correctly. I must state that this was NOT something that was ATD's fault, but rather a part defect. Amit came right out to take a look at it; got a replacement part from the manufacturer, and replaced it immediately. Then, over a year later, I had another very small issue where my pedestrian gate needed an adjustment- most likely due to ground movement. Again, Amit came right out and fixed the problem. He didn't even charge me and this was past the one year labor warranty. In summary, I can not say enough positive things about this company, This company merited the 45 minutes or so that I took to re-write this review, I say "re-write" because an employee of Angie's List had taken my review over the phone earlier today, and after I read it, I really felt that even though it was very complimentary, that it did not do this company justice. So here I am giving ATD a proper review. No, I was not paid or even asked by ATD or anyone to write this review! They EARNED it! They finished all work better than promised, and to say that I would highly recommend them would be an understatement.
