We were completely thrilled with Mark's designs which he implemented on the computer so that we had a three-dimensional perspective of each installation. (We must give kudos, too, to the Valet office personnel we interfaced with: Joanne, Leslie, Michelle---all appointments and financial transactions were timely and seamless. Kudos also to the manufacturing team who create beautiful cabinetry products behind the scenes.) Then, the installation teams arrived (...all of the installations took a total of two weeks...every installer was right on time). They are artists as well and could improvise (always for the better) as necessary: big thanks Marcial, Fernando, Rick, Sal, Roberto, Guillermo, as well as to Sid who did the eooxy flooring.

Valet and Mark Olson were contacted by our contractor who was remodeling bathrooms, office, and the master bedroom. Mark Olson came out, took measurements and consulted with my wife and I about our master bedroom closet. Mark arrived on time and talked with us about our needs which were very simple. Mark then took measurements and discussed colors for the organizer...again, a very simple decision. The organizer was actually finished ahead of time. After calling to say we were ready, they scheduled an morning installation and Fernando arrived on time and put-in the organizer promptly and efficiently. From start to finish, Mark, Fernando and Valet worked flawlessly and we were very satisfied with our experience.

The project went super well from start to finish. Our designer was willing to design what I asked for, even though it wouldn't have been her first choice (we had 24 years of experience of cabinets in our garage and knew what would work for us!). They were able to re-use our old butcher block workbench top and to use cabinet handles I provided. The quality of the cabinets is excellent. These shelves are not going to sag under the weight of my paint cans. The installation went quickly and was really well done. They did an especially nice job cutting the backs of the cabinets and trimming them to make openings for electrical outlets. The epoxy coating on the floor came out beautifully. I was especially impressed that they ground the concrete curb around the edge of the floor to create flat surfaces and epoxied them, too. They did this all without marring the freshly painted drywall above the curb. A really great experience and I enjoy my garage every day!

Design to installation of a new closet in a somewhat small space.

We had worked with the designer, Robert G, previously at our daughter's home nearby.  Valet and Robert did a fine job there, and this desk with three under-cabinets was simple by comparison.  Robert needed to plan for all electrical connections, offer us alternative depths and configurations, patiently explain the trade-offs, pick cabinet faces and pulls, design a diagonal feature and help us measure it out in the actual room to make sure it all worked.  It all went perfectly, including the installation.

There pricing is very good and competitive.  Mark has been with them for years and completes the measurements.  He actually took a look at the belongings going into the closest and came up with solutions for our storage needs  He did a great job we are very happy with our walk in closests.  The two people doing the install were great, they were timely, knoweleadgeable and professional.

We recently relocated from the east coast to San Ramon, CA. After we found our new home, we knew we needed to fit out some closets and have a cabinet designed and built to house a dry bar and our audio/video components. We found Jerry Archer and Valet while researching on Yelp and Angie's List. We asked Jerry and one other designer to visit the house and offer designs and estimates. With a million things to do, we made the easy decision to hire Valet - their reviews were off the chart and we weren't in the mood to audition any mid-range talent.
Jerry did a site inspection and assessed the 3 closets and the media niche, asked us about what we wanted what we couldn't do without and then provided a variety of options/architectural drawings to provide a solution that worked for us.
The final results were nothing shortof spectacular. The master closet (which is somewhat narrow) delivered a ton of new storage for long hanging, shoes, drawers, etc. The two other closets are on the smaller side and the the the space was wisely thought out and executed.
The media cabinet/bar which is in our family room really showcases what Valet is all about. I'm from out east and knew no one in the East Bay, Jerry introduced me to an audio visual consultant who worked closely with Valet to ensure that there were no surprises (First Reflection Audio Video) - FRAV designed and installed the media system. Valet's component shelves, kick plate and bar top are all slotted to allow for natural ventilation. The cabinet doors all haveself close hinges and the finish was matched to mirror existing cabinetry in the adjacent room. The LED lighting looks great and the installation team took great care in leaving an immaculate work area.

Great experience - designed 4 closets in renovated condo. Gia - sales person - was responsive and helpful in design. Very nice people, great follow up and high quality.

Gia contacted me and agreed to come over on a Holiday weekend. She was very knowledgeable about closets and construction in general. She came up with a design for both closets that worked. Gia worked with Larry in the office to make sure the design was the best option. Gia didn't try and over sell us with belt hooks, etc. I appreciated that she didn't put a lot of pressure on me like the first place did. We negotiated a price, it was a couple of hundred more than the first place, but we felt it was worth the quality of material not to mention the professionalism Gia instilled upon us. We signed a contract via email which was very convenient. They provided an install date and ended up installing it weeks earlier because a slot had opened and they knew we where waiting to move our clothes into our closets. The day of the installation, my husband was home and was impressed that the installer was quick to remedy a problem with a vent location. They showed up when promised, installed and left without leaving a mess and most importantly did the job correctly!

I worked with Mark Olson, designer at Valet. Mark was so patient and touched bases with me on and off for about a year before we finally decided to go ahead with the project. By the time I got back with him I had changed my mind about the design and so he redesigned the office/bookcase project for me according to my new plans. Mark was very thoughtful about the space and incorporated a couple of things that I would not have thought about. He was also considerate about getting back to me if I had questions or concerns. I cannot say enough about how happy I (we) have been with the final results!!
My husband was not too excited about the whole project at first but was very pleased with the workmanship and quality of the cabinets.
The install team was a pleasure to work with as well. They were clean, neat, and I was very comfortable when I had to leave for a little while. They were meticulous in their work and super nice guys.
Overall, I know I will be happy with this project for a long, long time. Every time I sit down to do computer work or just to do some filing, I am just plain happy!! Thanks Mark!!

The experience was very good. We used them a couple of years ago to redo our garage. They arrived on time, they did the work and they cleaned up afterwards, which is pretty good when you are dealing with contractors. I would not hesitate to call them again. We had called them before that: they did the closets in our house 10, 12 years ago.

We planned it and then expanded to doing an entire remodel of the bathroom so put them on hold.  This was not an issue for them.  Just said to call when we were ready to go again.  When we were ready, I called, they came out and looked to see if there were any changes to be made or other modifications.  We set up a date for the install.  It came and they installed beautifully.  Only hitch was a shelf was placed too high although it is where my husband said to put it.  I called they came back out within a day or two and moved the shelf to where I wanted it placed.  Smooth as silk.

They were extremely helpful in guiding us with the design.  They knew our needs and worked to design what we needed and stay within our budget.  After 2 years we still LOVE the products we purchased from them.  While not cheap, if you want outstanding design and function, this it the place to go.

Valet Organizers, particularly Ward, were professional and timely.  The quality of their work was great.  We're very pleased.  (my husband I had argued about doing the floor and finally decided to go ahead - best decision ever!)  They are "high end" on price, but well worth it. I plan to use them again for other projects.
