Mother's Day weekend and the place was packed. My husband brought me in to buy "something special" for our 15th anniversary. I was dazzled by the wonderful selection. My eye focused on a gorgeous 18k green diamond custom ring. It was so beautiful and unusual that my heart skipped a beat. Tod, the owner, was finishing up with a young couple buying an engagement ring. He also greeted an older couple who told me that they had been customers for years and loved the store. Tod showed us the ring, saw how much I loved it and gave us an "anniversary" discount as his gift to us. What a wonderful man! I will definitely go back often to see what goodies he has. He has beautiful jewelry to fit most budgets and his award winning on premise jeweler will recreate custom pieces out of your old jewelry.

Tod Ulery, the store owner appraised some family jewelry within a few hours. A few months later, when I noticed that a piece of jewelry somehow didn't make it on the appraisal report - I went back to them to have the report corrected. They completed the work with no additional charge and was able to meet a tight deadline. We have used them to purchase jewelry in the past as well and have been very pleased.

My first experience was excellent. The salesman was friendly, professional & attentive & I ended up buying a diamond ring, diamond pendant and a Fendi wristwatch. About 3 months later I went in to exchange a necklace received as a gift. The saleswoman was very knowledgeable & showed me several pairs of diamond earrings & a few simple diamond rings but she barely smiled the entire time. She seemed impatient & almost irritated that she had to wait on someone who wasn't spending $20,000. About one month later I had to go back to exchange diamond earrings received on V-Day. The salesgirl seemed inexperienced and was uninterested in trying to help me & just stood at the counter looking bored. The inventory on display was sparse & uninspired so I just left. A few weeks later I went back and the service was worse than all the times before. I finally choose another pair of earrings just to end the saga. I will never buy anything from The Jewel Box Jewelers ever again.
