I am so very pleased with the workmanship and service from Peninsula Doors. I must have gone everywhere in the South Bay and Peninsula looking for a good door company...most only do it as a sideline to window replacement, or just interior doors, or the big box stores. Finally, after months of research I came across Peninsula Doors, and I'm so glad I did. They really specialize, and know what they're doing. Selecting doors and getting on the schedule took some time. My install date was pushed out once by the manufacturer not delivering when expected. Finally, maybe 2 months since first contact, came the day to install. 1.5 days turned into 3 days, but the level of attention to detail was phenomenal. My doors before were 50+ years old and not in good shape, sticking, drafty, etc. The new doors are beautiful stained solid wood, with beautiful matching trim and thresholds. They fit like a glove and keep out all noise and drafts...I just love how they look and work, and I know Peninsula Doors will help with any issues I might have in the future. Peninsula Doors also installed a new security door I found elsewhere, and they did a really good job making it match upon install. This is a small company of just a few guys, who care about what they do. Real craftsmen. I found them very reasonable to work with, and polite, tidy and prompt. Highly recommended.

I cannot say enough good things about John and Pat (Co-Owners of Peninsula Doors).   John came out to look at what we wanted, he measured the space for the doors, and was our contact when we had questions.  John communicated well, answered all our questions, and was easy to get a hold of when we needed to contact him.  Pat came out and did the actual installation, which ended up being more challenging than expected.  There were no studs to anchor the door frame on either wall, and there is a pocket door that slides through the wall on one side, so Pat had to come up with a solution to ensure the doors were anchored properly, but didn't interfere with the pocket door.  Long story short, the installation took several more hours than expected, but Pat managed to install them properly.  He was very patient throughout the entire process, and obviously wanted to make sure these doors were installed the right way so that the frame stays in place and the doors remain level and don't start dragging on the floor over the next several years (these doors are extremely heavy!).  It was clear Pat takes pride in his work and was not going to slap it together just to "get it done."  If I ever need a new front door or have some other "non-standard" door installation again, I will call Peninsula Doors immediately.  I thought their price was reasonable, they were extremely easy to work with, they were accommodating beyond expectations, their workmanship was outstanding, they were very knowledgeable, and our overall experience was incredibly positive.
