They gave me half credit on the service call toward the door replacement. The new one didn't work right, but they came right out and fixed the problem. Shouldn't have taken 4 trips, but now is working good.

Initial call to company was answered promptly and courteously. We were able to get an appointment the next day. Representative who came out initially suggested that we replace the whole opener, since it is at least 25 years old. When pressed for alternatives, agreed to check to see if we could just replace the receiver rather than the whole unit. Would have been happier to sell us a new unit, I'm sure, and it was a bit annoying that we had to push him to consider a repair or a partial fix instead, but once it was clear that was our preference, he was very responsive - even eager - to figure out a solution. He had everything he needed in his truck, so we did not have to wait for parts and he was able to take care of everything on the spot. He replaced the receiver and provided two new remotes (which will work with a new unit should we eventually decide to get one). Then, when the garage door was still having trouble closing, he tightened up all the bolts and oiled everything, and it all worked smoothly. Plus, he did all this quickly and efficiently in spite of our very messy garage. Afterwards, he cleaned up very thoroughly. We felt the charges for the labor and the new equipment were very reasonable (especially compared to the cost of a whole new unit).

I heard about this company through a trade show. They did very good work installing the doors. They came back later and adjusted the door and installed a keypad. These people show up when they say they will. They are very professional.
