Called him Monday, he said there was an opening tomorrow. True to his word the sanding team was hard at work early Tuesday morning! Wednesday coat #1, Thursday flat sand and coat #2, Friday flat sand and coat #3 --> Job finished!!  Neighbors came and were amazed at how great the floor looked. Like having a brand new floor. Absolutely no flaws.  Scott was a great communicator sending progress reports via email and text messages. 
My wife and I do not hesitate to recommend this incredible team for working on your hardwood floors. #1 in our book!

Scott's team re-finished hardwood floors on one side of my duplex rental last fall and did such a good job, I had him back to do the other side in February.
They were able to get started right away (in the fall I had to wait nearly eight weeks for a hole in his schedule to open up) -- they sanded, replaced several damaged boards in the middle of one of the bedrooms, and refinished the floors to a beautiful satin shine. I can't tell where the boards have been replaced!
I plan to use them again on my own house later this year!

Scott and his guys did an excellent job from start (giving me a quote) to finish.  Scott was on time, was responsive to emails and voicemail messages, and worked with me to find dates that would work for my schedule to do the work.   He did exactly what he said he would do, with no surprises on price, and the floor looks terrific.   I couldn't ask for more.

Perfect. Showed up on time. Kept it to a minimum mess. Did a beautiful job. I am asking them to do the same floor after ten years of daily use. Can't wait until it is all new again.

I bought a and quot;fixer upperand quot; that had been rented for maybe the past decade. Underneath the nasty carpet was the original hardwood floors--over 60 years old, but in good shape. Between the floor in the living area and the floor in the hallway/bedrooms was some awful tile. So I needed the the existing floors refinished, and I needed to do something with the tile. Ideally I wanted to replace the tile with hardwood to match.
I talked to three contractors, and I liked Scott the best because I believed he was honest and cared about his work. He told me some things that I didn't wan to hear, like how we have issues with ground water at my location and how that will affect new flooring. But he also listened to how I wanted to handle the tile in the entry way and recommended how to replace it with wood flooring in a way that would minimize future maintenance issues. I could tell that, if he was going to do the job, he'd want to do it in a way that he considered right.
Another issue for me was timing. I had purchased the home and had already scheduled my move in, so I need the job done before the movers came. I also had termite work being done and a few other projects going. Scott was able to schedule his crew at the perfect time for me.
The work they did was excellent. The crew was courteous and professional. They fixed all the holes that had been drilled in the floor for coaxial cables and phone wires. And most importantly, they got the job done when they said they would! We are very happy with the quality of the work and think the price was fair. I would recommend Leslie Flooring to anyone who needs new floors or work on existing floors.

Scott's workers were always on time.and polite. They were not the cheapest. But they did exactly what they said they would. They cleaned up after themselves and I would use them again.

I couldn't have been happier with the service I received from Leslie Flooring. I had some water and termite damage to my sub-floor and Scott Leslie referred me to a great general contractor before I had the work to my hardwood floor complete. Once the sub-floor work was complete Scott and his team installed a new white oak hardwood floor in the kitchen and seamlessly tied it in with the 1930s original hardwood floor. He and his team were always on time and completed the work within the predetermined timeframe.

The quote I got from Leslie flooring was not the lowest quote nor was it the highest quote that I got. I got several quotes from many folks but the reason I went with Leslie is that Scott Leslie (the owner) was the ONLY one of the several folks I got bids from that actually looked at the condition of the floors in ALL of the rooms of my house. Other bids came in too low because they did not include costs for replacement of soft wood that was under about 50% of my floor area. I initially picked Leslie floors because it was obvious that they wanted to give me a fair quote and did not want me to have any surprises later and end up over budget. During the process of having the work done, all of the workers that were here were very nice and sensitive to the fact that we have small kids and were trying to be away from our home for as little time as possible. They were very flexible in timeframe of doing the work and when committed to showing up they showed up on time every time. I would hightly recommend them over other contractors who will not quote you up front for all the work (like carpet removal, trim, molding. etc...). I got the feeling from several other bids that they would eventually go up as the job would be completed. Just get a fair quote from Leslie Floors, and enjoy working with them. They do an awesome job, and they really went overboard trying not to add bad surprise costs to my job. They also matched some exiting wood with new wood and I cannot tell where they matched it, they did such a great match. My husband and I managed to scratch (!!!) the floor when we were putting the couch back into place (eek) and they even managed to fix that - amazing. In the end the floors turned out beautiful and I am just thrilled with the job that they did. I eventually want to put wood floors other parts of my house and you bet I'll be using Leslie.

The floors look fabulous! I would not hesitate to use Leslie hardwood floors again, and I will certainly recommend them to friends and family.

The owner is Scott Leslie, and he's very nice. He's very pleasant to work with. Very enthusiastic about his job, he loves to work. His workers were pleasent as well. He's also the one that referred me to my painter.
