The quote over the phone was really convenient.  Just number of rooms and registers and a few other things were asked.  They got back to me within a few hours with the quote.  They also were available 2 days later which made it really convenient since we have renters moving in soon and wanted the work done.

They arrived on time.  Jose, the lead, was professional, spoke great English and explained everything that needed to be done . He even helped determine that the new addition on the house didn't need to be removed and helped to reduce the cost (only by $50 but... it was something).

They set up their amazing containment areas and stayed on property the entire time since the house is totally open during the removal.  I was feeling a bit worried about security but Jose said they wouldn't be leaving.  They cleaned up everything very nicely.

It was good! I had painted my walls and I was concerned about the asbestos. They came right in and took care of it.

After starting some renovations in our old home, we broke into a wall with some asbestos covered ductwork. The material tested with 60% asbestos. I called John Howell to take a look and he put together a very reasonable estimate for removing this hazard from our home. John mentioned he's been in the business for a while and so I trusted his experience. Besides being a great guy to talk to, John and his team did great work in making our home safe.

The job was done quickly and cleanly with no problems.

John Howell, the owner, was very responsive on the phone but I never met him. He suggested they do it on a Saturday which was perfect for me because I work. He sent a crew to do the work, but they were very good. They did a very thorough job and completed it in the time they said they would complete it. When they were done, everything was as spotless as it could be with just the subfloor remaining. I'm sure the guys who installed my hardwoods after the floor removal would complain about the fact that JWH left the remaining underlayment in the toe kick area under the cabinets, though. The JWH crew said they didn't have the right tool, which they should have.

Went very well. I called them on Monday and they were in the house the next day working (they had a cancellation). The owner was great and answered all my questions.

Everything went very smoothly. John came out and gave us the estimate. They were able to start right away thanks to a last minute schedule opening. I paid the BAAQMD fee over the phone with a credit card and the job was scheduled. I met Omar, the project leader, on site at 8:30am the next morning and gave him keys. They finished about 2pm the next day, and called us to come inspect the site and pay the balance. They did a great job, the ceilings are nice and smooth, with no holes or damage, which we'd heard can be inevitable with popcorn removal. They cleaned up everything when they were done (in fact, the house was much cleaner than before they got there.)

They where very friendly when they where there working. They had showed up on time to do the work. They had done a good job at cleaning up when they where done.

Fine. John came out to give me an estimate and booked the job 2 days later. They were in and out of the basement in a few hours.

Smooth from start to finish. Located on Angie's list, contacted contractor, job site visited, and estimate given all within 2 days. Job complete within 1 week of initial contact. Time to perform job was 8 hours.

Work crew arrived on time and completed work as scheduled. The owner, crew boss and crew were all very professional and extremely hard workers.
