Cinnamon Solar
About us
The rooftop solar boom started in California during the energy crisis of 2001. Barry Cinnamon founded Akeena Solar that year in Silicon Valley, which grew to be the largest residential installer in the last decade with over 10,000 solar customers in California, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Colorado and Hawaii. Akeena partnered with the Westinghouse Electric Company to create Westinghouse Solar in 2010, and then merged with an overseas energy company in 2012. After his success at Akeena and Westinghouse, Barry Cinnamon started Cinnamon Solar in 2012 with several other Valley solar experts. Their passion is to develop residential solar power systems optimized to produce the most electricity for the lowest price. They also recommend and assist customers with appropriate Energy Efficiency (EE) measures to help reduce electric consumption even more. To keep costs down, Cinnamon Solar only works in the Santa Clara County area and installs standardized crystalline silicon panels and microinverter systems.

I will definitely be recommending Cinnamon Solar to my friends if any of them are in the market for a solar array.
I heard Barry Cinnamon's "Energy Show" on KLIV and decided to take the plunge. We ended up with 6 estimates including Cinnamon's. All were in the same ballpark but it was Cinnamon Solar's follow up that impressed us. The salesman. Scott Oswald was patient and knowledgeable. He was willing to come by and answer questions as well as discuss options. The owner, Barry Cinnamon came out and met with us as well. All of this made choosing Cinnamon Solar easy. Once we signed, Libni Alonso and his crew came out and did the installation quickly and efficiently with minimal disruption to our homelife. Scott came out several times during the installation to make sure all was well and the crew was there for all of the inspections.
Today the message came that we could "Flip the switch" and we are now interconnected with PG&E and producing energy
I want to give a big thumb's up to Cinnamon Solar.
I am recommending them to all of my local friends.
