Our radiant heating stopped working, so we called Carlock Plumbing, who was recommended by the Takagi, the manufacturer of our tankless water heater. We thought it was in issue with the water heater, so Adam, the service technician, inspected it, cleaned the filter, and determined it was fine. He found the problem was the pump. When he removed the pump, we saw that it was completely corroded and clogged. It was a ferrous pump and a non-ferrous pump should have been installed for our type of system. He replaced the pump with a non-ferrous one and our heat was working again. We have had problems with our radiant heat system in the past and have had several plumbers work on it, failing to fix the problems at hand. Adam was the first one who was able to diagnose and fix the problem efficiently. He will be the first person we call if we ever have a problem again.
