The windows were way overpriced, and were on the flimsy side. There was little difference between them and the single pained windows the new windows replaced. I wanted double pained windows installed because of a noise problem in my condo complex. I told the salesman this was my main concern. He said the double pain windows would reduce the noice by something like 80-90%. The windows were installed and the first night I tried to sleep, I found that I could hear the noise outside the window as much as before. I contacted the salesman, who denied he made the promise to me about noise reduction, and stated that if I wanted noise reduction I needed a special kind of glass. Odd, since he was the expert and since he knew the main purpose of me buying the windows was to reduce the noise, he should have mentioned I needed this glass earlier. When I complained, he offered to re-do the windows with the right glass, as long as I paid for the increased price for the special glass.
