Build For Me Construction

The entire project has gone beautifully!  We were out of the house almost a full year and the wall-to-ceiling bookcases in the Great Room are still being installed.  Everything else planned is now finished and we are, once again, living in our own house.  I was involved throughout, visiting the site once or twice a week for the entire length of the project.  Imre was always very careful to explain what was going on and what would be going on, giving me plenty of time to make the necessary decisions as well as pointers as to how to make those decisions.  I am still astounded at the amount of decision-making that goes into all aspects of building a house.  
The most annoying and counterproductive experiences involved have all had to do with bureaucratic tie-ups via City Hall and nothing at all with the construction per se.  I am amazed and delighted at what amounts to a brand-new house that I KNOW is structurally sound, meets building code requirements, and, at last, is suitable to the demands we put on it in terms of storage, living space, computer usage, and sheer comfort.  
I'm also now very aware of where, over the past 30 years of my living in the house, previous contractors on the smaller repair/replacement/remodel jobs I had done cut corners, did shoddy work, avoided getting required permits, and left me in ignorance that they were doing so.  Imre was above board on everything and I truly appreciate it.  I never want to remodel a house again; I'm not particularly fond of being uprooted... but if ever I had to, Imre would be the very first I'd call to handle the job.  I can not possibly recommend BuildForMe enough to anyone doing a build, re-build, or re-model.
