and it stopped running. I had taken it to a watch repair at a shopping
mall in the Bay Area, and they tried replacing the stem but couldn't get
it to run after working on it for months. Thankfully, they didn't
charge me for their efforts. I decided to try Once Upon a Tyme, as they
were recommended by Kevin Main Jewelers in SLO (an excellent place for
jewelry repair!).
The owner repaired the watch, found a matching
band in a larger size to fit my daughter's wrist, and gave my daughter
and me a detailed "lesson" on the proper care of this very delicate
timepiece. I was very impressed with the quality of service and the
speed of the repair. But the icing on the cake was the HAND-WRITTEN
thank-you note I received a week later! A small gesture, but it really
made an impression on me. I'll definitely take my valuable timepieces to
Once Upon a Tyme when they need repairs.
