TREESCAPES

They spent a great deal of time with each of 10 large 50+ ft trees. The trees were in extreme shock from infestation and disease. They applied fungicide and insecticide, and performed liberal deep-root feeding. He explained everything, and gave suggestions. After two weeks, they're already sprouting new, healthy growth. I'm having them return every quarter.

Well. Very professional & accommodating. We needed it finished by July 8th so came 2 half days. This company is very busy so need to allow time to get quote & schedule job.

I never imagined that a crew could do such a great job in such a short time. 
The crew showed up later than scheduled but in the end it made no difference as I thought it would take them longer to do the work.

Have used TreeScapes for several years for pruning major trees and tree removal.  Job was done efficiently with thorough clean-up.  Even put down tarps to cover driveway so the rubber caterpillar style treads on the heavy grinding machine wouldn't make marks on the driveway.  Not the cheapest in town but has the proper equipment for the job (cherry pickers, etc.), insurance and employees who follow common sense safety procedures.  Will use in the future and highly recommend TreeScapes.

In contrast to a couple of the other tree services we contacted, Treescapes actually gave us an estimate without having to nag them for it. The estimate had separate line items for pruning the pine tree and for pruning a couple of ash trees, which is what I asked for. Because of the expense, we decided to do only the pine tree, and we'll do the ash trees later this year. Making the appointment to do the work was easy. They did a good job, and cleaned up completely. We will be calling the to prune the ash trees this fall.

Roots of tree were destroying my patio. The job went smoothly and quickly. Except for the bare ground in a sea of lawn you can't tell a tree was ever there. I plan to use Jerry (owner of Tree Scapes) to cut down an old olive tree and to remove an old stump in order to level my yard. Jerry Monahan is a certified arborist and is knowledgeable on a wide variety of landscaping issues.

We've been using them for at least ten years, and everything has been going well. It's easy to get in touch to schedule, they clean up after themselves, and they are quite knowledgeable. Ultimately, it's been a good experience, and we'd recommend them to others.

We had one tree up against the house and interfering with the side and roof. It started as a smaller ficus that was to the roof line when we moved in but was now over 20 feet tall and rubbing against roof and wood trim. Before we can get the house repainted my husband wanted this tree removed.
We, also, have two very large trees close to but not against the house that needed to be thinned and pruned again. We have used Treescapes for all our tree trimming since moving into our house; so we called Jerry Monighan, again, to give us his price.
We had to wait about a month for the appointment but it was not a critical item so this was not an issue.
A four man crew with two trucks (including a cherry picker for the pruning) arrived on time and got right to work. My husband and I had to leave for an important appointment and they were done when we returned - so I estimate that they took about 5 hours to do all of the work as they had finished only a few minutes before we returned.
The pruned trees were given a much needed cleanout (NOT TOPPED - as we would not do that to our trees). The one by the house was gone and it looked quite empty. There is a stump left (per our instructions not to remove at it was near water lines and could cause issues if it was removed). The entire area was clean of debris - the workers have always kept the area clean and made sure that branches are picked up quickly. The trees do overlap to the next house and they make sure that her yard is as clean as our yard when they are done.
We are very happy with the work and were especially glad when two days later we had a two day Santa Ana blowing - and the clean out meant that the trees were free to move and not likely to cause any damage to property due to large limbs falling.

We have always been extremely pleased with Treescapes and the owner, Jerry Monihan. Jerry gives the kind of old fashioned service that people assume no longer exists. He has been in business in our community for many years, and he personally visits the work site to give the estimates. He takes the time to talk with us about the project and to answer our questions. Importantly, Treescapes knows the CORRECT way to prune, unlike so many tree services. They are prompt, efficient and clean up the site thoroughly after the work is done. One time we had a tall tree split and fall in a fierce rainstorm, leaving a precarious section standing. Although I'm sure they had a busy schedule, Jerry came out immediately and made sure that the tree was removed the next day. Their service and breadth of knowledge is excellent.

Their backlog was lengthy (six weeks) but it was well worth the wait.    The crew arrived right on time. The supervisor and his crew were very efficient & courteous.  The quality of the job was truly excellent.  We were particularly impressed with pruning and shaping of the pine trees.     They aren't the cheapest, but well worth it in our opinion. We'll definitely use them again in the future.

This was my second time using them. I got a quick response to my request for a bid and got a fair bid. They scheduled me the next day and provided service 10 days later. The crew arrived on time, did good work, cleaned thoroughly after themselves and completed on time.

We have two large tree in our front yard. We spent last summer clearing away branches the would fall with every good breeze. I knew the trees needed trimming but you always see big trees trimmed down to nubs and I've never cared for that look.

One morning passing a neighbors house I saw they were getting their beautiful large tree trimmed. It made me sad to think what that beautifully shaped tree would look like when they were done with it. When I returned home later that afternoon I was stunned to see their tree looked fabulous. The shape was the same but you could see through the tree now. I was so impressed I did something I've never done before, I stopped and knocked on their door and asked who had trimmed their tree.

He told me Jerry Monahan at Treescape had done it. I called right away. I was only disappointed by how long I had to wait for them to come out. Jerry came that week to do the estimate but the actual trimming was booked for 6 weeks later. They came on time they trimmed the trees beautifully and left not so much as a twig on the lawn, roof or landscaping. We are extremely pleased with the work!

They were fast. They were on time. They cleaned up very well. They were safe. When they bring down each limb, they tie ropes on. They had a crew of about 7-8 people. They cut down all the trees in 1 day and ground all the stumps and took everything away. All of the trees were at the fence line, but they cleaned up the other people's yard. They just took care of everything.

They were very, very good, but in the end I could not get them to come out. It turns out that the young man and his parents, who own the business, were divorcing and I think that he just got in over his head. He would say that he was coming and I would wait and wait. He had done some work and he needed to come back and finish it. He never did come back to finish the work, but I paid ahead for the service. I continually called the office and the woman would say that he was coming, but he never did. He did an excellent job with the other work, but he never came back to finish the work. He came out about three times.

They did a great, beautiful job. They were very neat and polite. I'd use them again.

I CALLED FOR AN APPOINTMENT FOR A ESTIMATE AND IT TOOK ABOUT A WEEK. WHEN THEY CAME FOR THE ESTIMATE THEY WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL AND WELL INFORMED AS TO THE TREES AND THE SERVICE THEY NEEDED. THE WORK WAS GOOD AND THEY LEFT NO MESS.

THEY NORMALLY DO A GREAT JOB. THIS LAST TIME THEY CUT DOWN THE GERANIUMS TOTALLY WHICH WERE SUPPOSED TO BE JUST SHAPED. SO WE DO HAVE OUR PROBLEMS.

THIS COMPANY WAS VERY EASY TO DEAL WITH. THEY CAME BY, LEFT A QUOTE AND WE SCHEDULED A DAY FOR THEM TO TRIM OUR TREE'S. THEY ACCOMPLISHED THE TRIMMING IN A FEW HOURS AND SENT A BILL. VERY PROFESSIONAL.
