It took a month to get it. First delivery attempt failed. Driver may or may not have called. If he did, he only let it ring three times. Second delivery attempt worked because I gave them permission to leave it in the driveway, which they did with no phone call. When door arrived, it turned out we had ordered a completely wrong size, although I have no idea how we managed a so completely wrong door. So I have a door and am out $320 because there's no returns on special orders.

I went into the store to order wood blinds after paying for the installer to come to my home and measure. The woman taking the order was very nice but on the phone and scattered. I should have asked if I should come back or that she do one thing at a time. No options were offered on valances, etc.

When the blinds came they were wrong - three times. It was getting ridiculous as each time they came out there was another or the same problem with some of the blinds.


Home Depot has acknowledged the problem and been very congenial to work with but we are 5 months into something very simple. It is the blind company - Bali - that seems to be the problem. However, I am dealing with and paying Home Depot.


I would work with Home Depot again but I would conduct myself in a very diff

rent manner and be more demanding of attention when placing an order.

THEY WERE VERY HELPFUL TO US AND WERE VERY COURTEOUS. DIDN'T MAKE US WAIT A LONG TIME TO GET STARTED WITH OUR PROJECT. THEY GAVE US INPUT TO WHAT MAY WORK AND TO WHAT WON'T.
