Nick Dziem, the owner, offers two grill cleaning & repair services. Deluxe for $250-300; and, a Functional for $200. Cost for any parts needed is extra. We corresponded by email, then telephone, and he recommended the Functional cleaning for my grill since he indicated the Weber surface inside my grill could not be made to look as good as he would like for his Deluxe cleaning service. I also indicated I was only getting half-flame. He stated that was probably the regulator, but he couldn't be sure until he tested it. He indicated that the regulator would be $50, if needed, so the upper limit on the cost would be $250 plus tax on the part.
He showed up on time, tested the grill, demonstrated how the low flame is being caused by the regulator, and immediately set to work. I was busy with another project, so I only saw him once during the 1 1/2 hour service. When he was finished, the exterior looked almost like a new grill, and the inside was certainly truly clean, especially the cooking grates, but I could see why he had indicated the Weber interior surface could not be brought up to his standard for a Deluxe cleaning. More importantly, my grill was back to working perfectly at full flame. And the cost was exactly what he said it would be.
Nick is a very personable and honest person. Even when I asked about doing a Deluxe cleaning, he was very up front about why that would not be as good for my grill, so I should go with the lower cost Functional cleaning. He indicated he thought I would still be very happy with the outcome...and I am!
